Shakuras not fit for Protoss from Aiur?

I just reexamined a picture of Shakuras and have reached some rather disturbing conclusions
1) It is purple
2) It seems to be set ablaze by some magical energy
3) Purple light drives people insane if they are suddenly exposed to it and forced to live in a place with it when they had before lived in a place with white light as the ambient light. This is possibly due to it being on an extreme end of the visible light spectrum (the same thing happens with red light)
4) Due to number 3, the protoss from Auir will not survive on Shakuras and will therefore soon go insane.

Valid points. However, it is my belief, due mostly to the color of their eyes, that they see in the infrared spectrum, or possible ultraviolet. If what you say is the case, why are the Dark Templar not insane?

perhaps many dark templar were driven insane some some were resistant and through many generations they adapted to it
or maybe they slowly exposed themselves to the planet over a long period of time but the protoss from auir do not have this luxury because out of necessity they had to go immediately

Still, I don't think they see in the visible light spectrum. Or perhaps that shot of Shakuras is meant from an EMI standpoint. That would explain the glowy energy stuff.

but the Dark Templars are the dark ones, so they may be used to purple light, coz it gives a dark color.

Or maybe its energy emenating from the planet thats created by the protoss
I favor the idea of it being seen differently (infrared vision)

Hmm, another inconsistency brought about by Blizzard.

At the end of Episode 4, when Zeratul and Artanis eradicated all zerg from Shakuras, we saw a sunrise on Shakuras, meaning now Shakuras now has a sun. But that's the cinematic, so it's inconsistent with gameplay.

but in the middle of episode 5 there wasn't even a sun at sight.

how the heck did the zerg get cerebrates and all on shakuras in the first place and bred so fast!? those dark templar weren't very good at securing the warp gate were they -_-

if you created the game would you get PhDs in nearly all degrees offered in the world just to make a game perfectly credible....!?

Well, I have a PhD in Common Sense.

The protoss probably use their remaining psi energy to create a psionic illusion of a sun over shakuras for the cinematic so that it would look more dramatic.

Life on Earth requires the sun, not necessarily alien life... So maybe the Terrans would all be completely screwed, but Protoss and Zerg could quite plausibly live without a sun.

Maybe the energy around the planet is the "Void" or some sort. DT feed on it or they use it in some way. The picture shows that the planet is giving ts own light/energy meaning that the sun might not being needed.

hmm. the stars are purple too. that don't make any sense at all. in fact, when you're out in space, you can't possibly see stars twinkle like that.

but seriously though stuff facts and impossibilities that planet just looks wicked purple. and the stars look purple cause of the purple cloudy atmosphere near the planet?
