Ok so Its thursday, endof my shift, and this women calls about DIal Up So I get the regular shpool... "internet problems" "tried different numbers" "is work being done on the lines" "username/pass correct" So on so forth So im basicly doing the feed BS wait caller out, cause DIal Up... its ****in telephone line... its 2008 get a damn cable modem, Dial Up is like impossible to trouble shoot for us. Anyways, I finally tell the lady, listen.. I dont even see you connecting on curtain numbers (we do watch logs) and that something is wrong with the numbers route themselves.. Out of our hands lady... cust-"Well i dont understand how can a phone line be out" me-"You got me.. we arent a phone company i dont know how they operate..." cust-"well if one line goes out wouldnt the hole town be down.. i beleieve it would and it isnt" me-"Well we have multiple numbers for that reason.. if one doesnt work doesnt mean the hole towns telephone lines dont work..." cust-"Well i dont think so, it dont make sense how can one be out and not the town and the town isnt" me-"Well try this.. dial directly to the number and if it sounds like it does on the PC Modem then the connection is good... if its buys or you get no sounds.. that = bad" cust-"Ok here listen, THROWS PHONE NEXT TO THE PHONE IM ON WITH HER" *****SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH ***MODEM NOICE*** SCREECH SCREECH**** me- throws headphones off head looks at co-worker... Do you here this? co-work-" Ya sounds good" me-"***** put it to my ear... ****in *****!" Cust-"Do u here that?" me-"Yes i here it fine u dont need to do that" Cust-"well here lemme try a diff number, listen" ****SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH*** me- throws off headset again "WTF I JUST TOLD THIS *****!" cust-"You hear that?" me-"mam it sounds fine... stop puting itup to the phone" cust-"Well let me try this, listen" ***SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH*** Ok long story short.... i get the ***** off the phone... no solution... my shift is long over and now my ear hurts... I was so ****in pissed. And thing is i dont ever get emotional about calls ever.... She did the impossible... i was furious. Lol good day at the job... ill never treat a dial up customer the same again
