seems like it's just me...

but SC2 forums always appear to be down, for days at a time. i have no idea why. my latest post was the one about Scribblenauts... i haven't been able to access the site until now. obviously other people have been able to visit just fine and reply to that thread.

i have no problems accessing the rest of the internet when this happens. i'm also on my own computer, at home, so it's not domain blocking or whatever. anyone have any idea what's going on? anyone else experience this?

 

Site moved, the people who are s'posed to have updated the DNS servers haven't yet. Been more then a month, there are a few of us, myself and Joneagle included, and yes we're sore about it.

 

huh. didn't think the effects would last this long. seems like i'm getting a 50/50 chance of connecting to an "old" DNS server.

all the time, for me. like, not even kidding. half the time i can't get on. God, i hate this.

 

We have the same ISP Kurai. So of course we're gonna have the same problem.

Not necessarily, it's a location based thing iirc.


I can't access it from 2-7PM and anytime past 12AM till I wake up. Pretty much 10-12 are my accessable hours due to my job.

So, that's two mods and the admin.

Location based would sense. Right now I have the same ISP as Fenix and have neve had an issue accessing the site (and I never had any issues with my previous ISP either).

 

Have you guys tried the other url's yet? We have like, www.sc2f.com www.starcraft2forum.org etc

Same. I'm sometimes locked out for hours. Sometimes for just a few minutes.

 

Then it can't be a dns thing, I think. I never have any problems with the two in my previous post. At most a bit of slowdown, but that's different then being completely locked out.

What kind of error message does it display? 404? 400? No message at all?

 

Cannot find server. Sometimes I even get a server doesn't exist, but that has mostly stopped.

Happens to me rarely, I seem to be able to get on through a proxy, but they load too slow to make it worth it. But if anyone suffers severe withdrawal try something like http://facebookoxy.com/

I don't see anyone going that crazy, that they need to use a proxy. It doesn't last that long anymore. Now if you said this a few weeks ago, then it would be different.
