The wild card will be picked on the basis of most entertaining & skilled loser. A wild card cannot progress twice meaning that the wild card picked from 50 to 26, if beaten again cannot progress again under wild card rules. How will the tournament take place? Once 100 Competitors have been picked/applied you will receive an email confirming your opponent battle net Username, email address, maps and a 3 week window (EG: 16/07/2012 to 06/08/2012). It will be your responsibility to contact your opponent and arrange the matches at times that suit you both (within the given period). Once a winner of the stage is crowned, the winner will email the provided email address with the 3 replays before the deadline. If no replays have been received both individuals will be disqualified. If we receive a complaint from one competitor claiming that their opponent is unreachable, we will try, and if you cannot be contacted you will be disqualified. If we are left with an uneven number due to disqualifications wildcards will make up the difference. Rinse and repeat. How will people watch the tournament? The tournament will be 100% youtube based, replays will be cast and uploaded to our new channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BawheidSC?feature=mhee If replays are released by the players before they are cast and uploaded to the channel both players will be disqualified. The competitors can live stream the games if they wish. Expected time? I expect the tournament to be about 4 months long, because we will be giving the players plenty of time to arrange and take part in their games. Please only apply if you are willing to see it through. In the unlikely event that we attract any sponsors; this money will be used to boost the prize pools. If sponsors provide any equipment this will be added onto prize pulls. This will be 100% non profit tournament. Sponsors would receive a full shout out on every cast. Any Pro players that take part can request that their sponsors also receive a shout out, and this will be done at the beginning of their matches. Application form: EU Battle net username: Email address: Faction (no random): Ladder group this season: Ladder group last season: Sponsors if any: Please Title all application emails: ‘Application SCS 2012-13’ to BawheidSC@gmail.com All of the above is subject to change and if we don’t receive enough interest I will be forced to cancel. Personal: I’ve been watching SC & SC2 tournaments and videos for well over 5 years. I am a massive SC fan and I want to try and help keep SC2 community full of quality games. I am Scottish and all casts will be done by me and one of my close friends. I am putting up 100% of the prize pull, and any additional investment will increase the prizes. This is something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time and if successful I will continue this annually. Any questions should be direct to BawheidSC@gmail.com Finally, please let anyone you know who may be interested in taking part know and please subscribe to our you tube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BawheidSC?feature=mhee Thanks you.
