    The Carrier is on the official StarCraft 2 site.
    The Battlecruiser on the site dies Very slowly =(

    Mothership got a new icon for some reason. hm...

    As for the Carriers having trouble dealing with a Battle Cruiser, I don't think there's anything suprising in that. They are heavily armored and Interceptors don't deal much damage. It would take just as long in SC1 for that match I think.

    there is 3 new screen shots too! in one of em 7 carriers bullies a Thor! poor thing....

    I think the carrier is now on the U.S. site as well now.

    Great! :thumbup: On the site it says that this is the capital ship.
    Isn't the mothership the capital? I really like the attack animation of the interceptors.

    Eleven Protoss units have been revealed now. Probe, Observer, and High Templar are all known to be in the game, but have not been officially shown on the website. It's probably pretty safe to say that the Protoss tech tree is more or less set at this point. Fourteen total units seems about right, as the original Starcraft Protoss were also that numerous. And Blizzard said they wanted to keep the unit count around the same for Starcraft 2.

    Finnally the carrier I was waiting for this; though I had hoped we would see some Zerg



    WOW 1400. They don't even hand that kind of cash out for for the best posts on the forums

    They are still trying to work in the soul hunter though, and you forgot the star relic or whatever its name is now.

    Soul hunter and star relic are gone though and I am sure the stasis orb is in too much flux to be posted just yet.


    Does anyone notice it takes a long time for 3 ccarriers to take out 1 BC?
    Also one burning question: WHERE oh where are the fighter bays. The central area is hollow. Do the interceprots warp in, because that isn't what the descriptinon says

    The carrier looks impossibly(!!!) weak- it took 3 carriers 25 seconds to take out 1 battlecruiser!!!

    Blizzard needs to something about this immediately - talking about imbalance...

    it is weak against a unit that it is supposed to suck against (although i agree with you a bit)
    its like fighting zealots with scouts-it takes some time :p
    battlecruisers got a f*ckload of armor and hp, wait until you see those fellas sending interceptors against marines, zerglings and workers etc.

    LOL that toook FOREVER.


    It could be one hell of an upgraded bc versus a non-upgraded carrier with 4 interceptors each.

    I mean you did see only around 12 interceptors which accounts for an upgraded carrier and a half. So it may have not be as nerfed as you think it would be.

    Lol that BC almost almost took out one of the carrier's.

    it seems like the new battle cruiser is way more powerful then a carrier now

    guess they are more effective against lighter armored targets now
