I just finished the Zeratul quest on the Overmind. Tassadar tell us that Overmind was trap and a slave for the Xel-Naga. It was written that the Protoss are there to annihilate the Zerg. The Overmind channel his freedom using Kerrigan for survival.

He knows that the end will come and he have the most knowledge to foresee this "Apocalypse", but why does the Overmind channel this revelation to the Protoss now? (With the help of Tassadar on the cut scene).

Does he is a scapegoat for the Xel Naga or the fate itself?

Why didn't Overmind pass the knowledge to Kerrigan as she rampage the whole system and help the Protoss to overcome Xel-Naga?

I always thought he has a free will. But Kerrigan never shows any sign of the Xel'naga annihilation and her personality only show that she is an abomination. She might be a "Prophet" or a chosen one in the prophecy but it's all feels like "Darth Vader" now. From the single player we all know that she's can alter the fate.

The storylines and the personality for each character are damn well written from Blizzard.
They love to keep us hanging until we buy our own expansion in the series. ;)

The Overmind was dead, it didn't choose to give the prophecy to the Protoss or choose not to give it to Kerrigan, it's vision was just psionic emmanations from its death throws, just an echo.

That's an explanation on Overmind and prophecy, thanks. They (Blizzard) Didn't give a ring on the Dark Voice controlling the zerg all along. As the original game (As I thought) shows that the Zerg use Kerrigan to commandeer the forces to oppress the Protoss easily. Didn't know that she's an agent to balance the scale.

After finishing the game, I wonder the "disinfestation" are part of the prophecy. I'm sure the Dark One didn't write any of the sculpture in the game. And also since it was altered, does it delay the Armageddon? or it manage to stop by disinfecting Kerrigan? I hope some new Novel or canon will strength the connection after Wings or Liberty by different point of views.

[This is pure speculative discussion about the fate and function of each character, no real source use in here]
