[SC2F] Market Jon Contest

Hey guys,

Okay, so it's time for a new logo for Jon. I love ArchLimit and all but I think I may have outgrown my spinning Gator.

It's time for a more symbolic one...

So let the contest begin. I need a logo that displays my interests and represents the essence of Jon.

Hmm to show a marine holding his rifle while one foot is on a gator while above it,it says "The real Meister." Just a thought, I don't know how to make it but it sounds good.

lol well i'm sure chuck could beat a gator with his bar hands. i was trying to capture SC but hey i'm sure that if chuck norris was in the starcraft universe, the zerg would be begging for mercy.

Now I'm not saying I want exactly this. But it's a great way for him to "brand" himself. Hook me up folks.

On a more serious note, your specs aren't specs at all I mean there are no guides whatsoever. Do you want a character? Joyful or grim? Colour scheme? etc.

Lol. It needs to be both professional looking and fun. Your little gif thing is too fun and not enough professional. It needs to be almost a "logo" for me. I like AJ's, it's a character and fun while being semi-professional. He wouldn't be "embarassed" if an employer or client saw it.

 

so it needs to look cool yet child-like? or im not getting the idea?

You have not even showed that you are capable of making your own signature or picking an avatar that looks at least decent. Now you think you can do better then the things posted above... :s

Jon. If you can give me dimensions, your theme and confirm again that you like the style AJ used, then I know some people who can make an awesome avatar. You just have to be a little more specific. -I have been member of a Dutch design site for quite some time. Still have credit there for an occasion like this.- Just tell me if you are interested.

 

Ouch...that struck a nerve.....I haven't found a decent avatar and signature for myself because I don't know what I want...But I can help someone that knows what they want....

 

I don't think Jon wants one found on the internet. He'd like a unique one. So I hate to be rude but Loverboy unless you can make extremely good avatars from scratch this one has to be left to the big dogs. Oh and I'm not one of those big dogs either.

 

I was working on one for Jon until Aurora brought up the fact that my avatar and signature is not all that good so now I am working on mine....

 

See, the problem is I want some artistic flair. I don't know EXACTLY what I'm looking for probably until I see it. I can design quite a bit of stuff in Photoshop but it's mostly cut/paste work. I'm not good at original drawings.

So I know a few things:

Orange and Blue are good colors. (Gators)
The Florida Gators rock. (maybe a character wearing a Gator shirt?)
It should represent ME!!!! AJ's is cool because it's not HIM but it's HIM, you know what I mean?
