I heard SC2 took place 4 years after Brood War, but so does the story line of SC Ghost. People, say good bye to Ghost! :'(

They probably won't remove ghosts, otherwise who's gonna launch the nukes? :D

if you ask me, a console of SC would not be played for a very long time, i'd say like 4 to 5 years, but SC on pc is much better cuz it should still be played by millions around the globe for like over a decade of years! thats how long SC 1 lasted since 1998 ;)

If they do give up on it, they wouldn't really be the first company to completely abandon a game even after some gameplay demos have been launched. Also, if they had launched it, their decision to make it only for consoles would have been its downfall. They'll release a book anyway, so why are you guys so stoked for anyway? :D

starcraft is the 2nd best selling pc game so yeah i would say they liked the rts better.

as for starcraft ghost i didnt think it would be very good anyway i mean a fps is a fps no matter which way you spin it and at best it would bring people away from the other pc games onto more console games and at worst it would put people off of buying other blizzard games so they would lose eaither way.

I think Blizzard will revisit Starcraft: Ghost sometime in the future. Blizzard will eventually try to gain power when it comes to console gaming. But that is just my opinion.

But hey, now we have Starcraft 2, God, couldn't ask for anything else!

welcome to starcraft 2 forum sagrado!

    i disagree though
blizzard is a small company and they seem to want to stay that way.
gaining power doesent seem their style

It wasn't the best idea to begin with. Not only was it for consoles, but it was a stealth game. Sneaking around never seemed much fun (to me, anyway). Plus, the zerg buildings must look SICK inside.
