Thought I'd share a tool I made for offline combat simulation of 1v1 combat. Please share comments and suggestions. http://www.sinfulgaming.com/starcraft2/deathchart.php
Immortals have 100 shield not 200 I am dissapoint! But otherwise nice work Full armour BC vs Full armour BC takes 123 seconds XD
Sorry I was keeping a list of known issues on TL's forum post, but no this is not yet implemented. Banelings are not working as intended either.
Ouch... I thought I had this correct but then checked SC2Armory's site and they show 100hp 200shields. It's 200hp 100sh eh? I will fix this immediately because I do have hardened shields implemented and that will VASTLY skew the results. Immortal is broken at the moment now.. thanks a lot There's apparently a bug in the code. It only appears to happen on Thor vs Immortal but that's an important fight. Ok I believe I have Immortals corrected.. thanks for pointing out the bug.
Also worth noting is the Point Defense Drone vs Missile Turret, in which the Defense Drone was treated as having no energy, and therefore was unable to destroy incoming missiles.
I need a little feedback from the community.. I'm honestly not a min maxer or do much with my own tool, I've just been bored on lunch breaks at work. I've thought it might be a good idea to have a table output of each fight so that users can copy paste this into excel or whatnot to have it permanently stored. I'd like some feedback on what kind of info would be useful to see in this table for comparison purposes. Any layout or table combo is perfectly acceptable as a suggestion. I might even try to automate this process and have it online in the future.
You can always just open the map editor and only put the two units you want to do battle with in it. ^^
This is really cool, it reminds me of the days with web-browser games and the offline number-cruncher tools you used to keep up. I was thinking about something similar but to test intial builds. Perhaps some nice interface where you drag a slider to go forward in time over the houndreds of a second (if you want it advanced allow to go back in time), simply allowing you to select build worker, build refinery etc. selecting worker to collect minerals adds minerals etc. then the time ticks on with what 5 minerals a sec per worker etc. you know what I mean
Go This would give the player more options and more economy choices. At the Worldwide Invitational in Paris, we had the opportunity to show you a new StarCraft II client. So many many thanks for this .
