SC2 Officially Pushed Into 2010

It appears Blizzard is holding true to its age-old motto: "When it's ready." In a move that was foreseen by many industry analysts, Robert Koetick, Activision's CEO announced great profits for Quarter 2--and the fact that StarCraft 2 definitely won't be released in 2009.

But despair not! BlizzCon is just around the corner and now that the SC2F staff is back in action after a couple weeks off, we'll be there to bring it to you.

yes, i am laughing in your face. You are honestly dissapointed cant keep the date that you fanboys thought they should hold on to, without blizzard stating any intended release date.
This is the first time they dated the release.

damn. sad, but for me personally, no big loss. i'm going on a long backpacking trip for a few months until christmas, so i would have missed the launch anyways.

Team Fortress 2 will keep me busy in the meantime.

 

something tells me SC2 doesnt exist at all and its just all photoshopped

They do say that it is very likely going to be an early 2010 release. But with an official window (which could also be delayed, officially), who knows! I think we should expect a beta announcement at Blizzcon, at the very least. Though it is very annoying that they are delaying it because of Battle.net 2.0. If anything they could have given us the full game and then updated to B.Net 2.0 after retail, its not like its going to diminish our experience. LAME!!!

 

I'm not liking this at all....... when will it actually release? No more delays please blizz

I wonder if by ready they mean ready for beta or ready for game release Because if it's "ready for beta" we're looking at a late Q2 release.

Blizzard the most profitable games company in the world is trying to tell us that they have chilled out in their chairs and need more f*cking time to make battle net stable and producive to give us an epic(my ash) expirience
In Dubai are building the most high tech Skyscrapers in less than six months and those mother&%$&* in blizzard need more time..

Kinda hard to imagine that it'll took 3 years before this game finally gets released. I just reminisced the goosebumps I had when this was announced more or less 2years ago.

whats with every game getting delayed to 2010.. well i respect that they understand there mistake and they are telling us and im glad there really fine tuning the game.

haha they didn't even tell us the date in the first place they should of just said "we are officially releasing SC2 in the first half of 2010"

 

Theres a reason for that. They didnt announce the complicated ......b-net thing until after. They didnt know how long it would take. Heres are answer.
