sc2 not running all that great

hi there, i recently bought a new laptop for school, and also to finally play this game how ever, while i read this computer should be able to handle medium settings at the very least, setting it on anything other than low will slow the game down to a crawl and even on low, custom games slow down as well, such as marine arena. now i understand the big battles in those may be whats up with that, but i just wanted a second opinion to find out if my computer can run this game any better than it currently is


any help would be great

 

my computer usually cant play 4v4 cause of lag.... aswell as marine arena.... :C

 

oh really? so is this pretty common then? like id need a really nice computer to run these games at 100%?

 

Since it's a laptop, I'd wager your vid card isn't that grand. You need at least a 512 to play smoothly, most integrated cards max out at 256 (UNLESS it's specifically for gaming)

so no suggestions to throw my way eh? im pretty noobish to computer gaming so i dont have to slightest clue on how to tweak performance...
