sc2 maphack

I was so freaken PISSED! He did not send a scout or an observer to my base once! Yet he was able to perfectly position his stalkers to where my banshee was. I could not find the guys character Id so if you can find it then please report him.

Here is the replay, and please notice how he was constantly looking at my base THROUGH the fog of war!

I don't think this was a maphack or something? You just attacked him from the front everytime.. and you didnt react to his stalkers well enough.

 

Oh it definately was. Nobody looks around at the enemy base all the time like that guy does, without having a maphack.

 

Agreed, not to mention he moved his stalkers in position before even seeing my banshee.

 

Some guy named esp sent 2 probes directly to my base on a 4 spawn map yesterday to build 2 gateways/pylons.

Too bad for him i always shift/scout the dark areas of my platform early and killed both pylons. He managed to warp in a single zealot which was trapped helplessly in the space between his 2 gateways and the wall.

 

I checked the replay, I checked the protoss point of view, and I did not see any evidence of hacking. I've seen people who have map hacks in replays, and they look at people's bases through the fog of war in an obvious way. Not just "I hovered over your base and clicked move-attack on it", but really look over all the different parts of it, and look at what is moving on the minimap. DIdn't see that.


Also, check his point of view, see how EASY it is to see that banshee? You see the ripples when it's invisible AND you didn't even cloak the first one until after you had taken damage in his base from his stalkers.

Serioulsy, saw no evidence of hacks in this replay.

 

OMG, WOW. Dude I really don't mean to be mean, but cmon its so obvious! Okay would you really move your units in position right before the banshee is actually seen through the fog of war? Of course I wouldn't cloak in that short little millisecond I had. Also please look at his camera through the replay to see him looking AT NOTHING at my base. NO scout, NO observer, and no wrong counters whatsoever. NOT to mention he looked at my scout through the fog of war.

Btw nobody and I mean nobody looks at an empty terrain for about 20 times in one game.
Also, you cannot see the minimap as the hacker sees it in a replay..That's pretty obvious.

 

I didn't notice anything unusual whatsoever.

My opinion.. and I'm very knowledgeable about the game... is that nothing weird happened.

 

The only things i found suspect was the fact he never scouted. Not even with an observer.

In the end i dont think he was map hacking he passed up numerous opportunities to push and instead went for a macro based play.

 

Maybe you're frustrated that a player with a third of your APM beat you? Firstly, it's not a rule to scout, and secondly, his unit composition was not a counter to yours, it was a stab in the dark that generally works.

Just be glad you didn't know how to report him otherwise Blizzard's response would've hurt a lot.

 

Honestly, if you can't see that this fellow was maphacking then you
A. Don't know how to toogle "player camera" when watching a replay, and missed that he was looking exactly at the incoming banshee when it was half the map away (and called back his troops to defend at exactly the right position) + other things (such as constantly looking at where the other player had gathered his army)
or you
B. Are an idiot/have a sixth sense that lets you see what normal humans can't. If it's the latter then I would use my ability to make money or better the world instead of playing a computer game, but hey, your call!

 

This guy is obviously just a troll.

 

Its like right smack dab in the eye man! That guy is not a troll. He was just the only smart guy to actually toggle player camera to see that he was looking at my banshee THROUGH the FOG OF WAR, and don't tell me it was pure luck!

Also, I do agree I played like pure crap that game, but cheating is cheating.
Please don't act like I'm an idiot without looking at the replay.

 

Calling yourself "very knowledgeable about the game" and then not seeing this for the maphack it is, that's trolling.

That's blatent map hack, and anyone who says otherwise is a freaking tard. =/ Dude was just smarter than your average hacker. Clicked to make it look like he was sending hit units places so he could see what he wanted and then told them to go back to base. PLAIN AS DAY

Let's see, and I actually did watch this for a good thirty minutes trying to pinpoint exactly where he looked and such so bite me if you don't beleive me.

Banshee - Told his units to go to the top right expoish area, just happens the banshee was over there going down the right side of the map. Kept the units in base by his mineral line. Canceled his Immortal when it was at 75% and built an observer. Even though he does not look for the banshee when it's near his expo, he has his screen half on his troops half off for the most part over looking his expo to see the banshee with his units selected. Moves INSTANTLY when the banshee comes into view and puts up the force field thing a second after. With APM like his that'd be rediculous to ask for.

5 x Sending Units - He send units to red's natural/main but recalls them instantly after spending some time looking at the fog of war. A key instance of this is him 'sending' his units to red destructible rocks right as red's marines start shooting at them to get a 3rd expo. He does it other times during the replay to check out the mass of units at the expo. Like the time when red's got all his units on the left path of his natural expo getting ready to run down and attack blue's natural expo. Then decided to not attack yet again. Dude is mad hacks. You wanna fight me on it I'll write down every damn time to watch for and you can see yourself. =/

Some of you say he's just mad cus he lost, some say blue would have done this or that cus he could see Red's stuff but you gotta remember that most hackers completely blow at SC. They just do well cus they can see everything that's happening. ****, if I could see everything going on I'd be Diamond.
