SC2 leaked??

Hey is the beta for SC2 out yet I thought it was still Alpha but if it IS the beta i found this site:

claiming they have leaked SC2. Probably a virus though but I'll take the risk of sc2 IS in beta stages.

 

I wanted to download it but I couldn't figure it out how. And yes, this is some kind of a joke or a means of distributing a malicious program because beta will contain the Zerg (as beta will mostly focus on balancing) and we haven't heard anything about them.

I'll try to download it to see what they're up to

That site should be visited with extreme caution. They carry so many items that go against Blizzard's online gaming policies and even then, those items already have a questionable background. In fact, some files don't even make sense (I.E. Halo 3 Gold Dupe Hack?!) I think this is exactly what lichking said. If you were to view web analysis sites such as Compete, you will notice that activity and visitor rates have decremented.

 

i thought the starcraft2 epic item hack was weirder

 

It's fake, there's nothing there to download.

I'll wait until Blizzard puts out the signup for beta. I've heard rumors that it could be as early as Feb 08

All files at this site is infected with virus. And sure there is just fake files.

 

An actual leak would be a HUGE deal.

Never download anything unless it is A) released by the company (Blizzard in this case) or B) referenced by a legit news source. One of those two things would be the only real indication of such an event.

The point is, the SCII beta is HACKABLE obviously if someone got their hands on it! I'm wondering if someone in this thread got a virus from that website and have equivocated that experience to this "possible" SC2 beta? It looks like it requires you to DL some graphical system for your web browser before it will allow you to DL it. This very well could be some sort of marketing scam, but I would like to know its safe, and want to be sure that its just not a person or two being paranoid.

Have ANY version of the SCII beta woudl BE AWESOME!! Someone try this...please?

Your right it wouldn't technically be a beta, but sitll a pre-release version. I think its hard to tell if its real, I mean alot of the bad rep of this site may be in part because some users hate hacks (myself included). But I would affliate myself to get an early version of SCII.

IN fact I would do a hand stand outside one of the windows on the top floor of the sears tower...solely to play SC2 in some form. ;p

The idea of having access to the game so soon...has given me a feeling of desperation for SC2...I MUST PLAY IT!

I might have found a spanish version of a SCII pre-release that was added last month. Its 1.97 gigabytes. Hmm...

 

This website is ILLEGAL and DANGEROUS!

Do not visit it or search for a beta version of the game. If my attention is brought to a real crack, I would certainly let our members know. This is NOT A CRACK FOR THE BETA TEST OF STARCRAFT 2.

Also, posting threads like this is UNACCEPTABLE. Do not do so in the future.
