    Hello everybody,

As the title says, sc2 keeps freezing in certain custom maps on my mac. I can still move my mouse, but i cant do anything else. So my only choice is to kill the process of sc2. Probably its some special trigger that freezes the game.

Well i followed the instructions on http://us.blizzard.com/support/arti...parentCategoryId&pageNumber=1&categoryId=3631
and then i was able to play the map (which has frozen my game before), BUT only once xD. The 2nd time i played the map, the game froze again.

Im not gonna do the whole stuff everytime before i play a custom map.

    Any ideas?

What video card are you running in your Mac?
Are these custom maps you have created yourself, or maps available on battle.net?

It's fine, only the model was necessary. Please read my FAQ on the nVidia overheating issue. If the framerate cap doesn't permanently save, you may need to chmod variables.txt to have different permissions (I can't make any recommendations, my Unix/Linux syntax is way too rusty).

If you haven't applied the Snow Leopard Graphics Update if available to you, you may want to as it fixes many issues in StarCraft 2.

What version of OSX are you using?

Thanks a lot. Seems like the graphics update for snow leopard fixed my problem. At least, now i can play the map which caused the game to freeze earlier. I just hope that the problem doesnt occur on other maps...
