SC2 Hater on Youtube

From buildings loooking to blockish units looking to much like ninjas and war 3 units.He even compares marines to footmen (wtf dude u high?) and of all the nice things to say he says "the minerals look good" i mean... -_-

 

He needs to see what the SC1 alpha looked like. Does "Warcraft gone purple" ring a bell?

We know about this already, and i don't think he is an sc2 hater, he clearly states in the video info section that he doesn't really agree with some ofthe things said in the video but instead the video was compiled by gathering info from various forums. I think it deserves 5 out of 5 stars for the effort even though i disagree with just about everything in the video.

 

He most hate something about sc2 if he's going to bother putting time and effort into a video that puts SC2 down.

 

I still don't think he is an sc2 hater but some of the people that commented....

 

Generally it is not appropriate to judge someone's opinion because everyone is entitled to have one even if it's a very weird one but... this guy is a fool if this is his opinion on SC2.

How can you compare SC units with SC2 ones that were recorded with a low resolution camera?
How could you not realise that the lowres camera distorted the colours, making units even harder to recognise and distinguish?
How can he say that the Zealot in SC that consists of 16 pixels looks better than the on in SC2?

When he has both installed and have played it for a week, then he can compare the two. Doing it now is foolish.

The only thing I agree on is the automated features and that SC2 in its current state wouldn't reward training enough.

It seems "various forums" have average IQs much much lower than this one by some of the complaints he stated.

 

I knew about this video, i agree in some points, like the one which says that there could be problems finding small units in a fight, there is just too much going on in the videos that we´ve seen, but as everybody knows this is just alpha, nothing final, and of curse there were some other like the ninja that were just plain stupid, so lets see what the final product looks and plays like see ya

and stop insulting the one who posted the video, all he did was a collage of several complains in the forums.

Well... he is correct on a couple of issues, namely that the SC2 screen is going to be insanely cluttered.

He's also right the Reaper would be a nice Firebat replacement (with flamethrowers!!!!).

But he's dead wrong about the Mothership, according to the general opinion on this forum.

 

And he's right about the blocky terran buildings.
They need some change.

I posted a remark 4 weeks ago about this video. I didn't criticize the guy who did this video. He is not a SC2 hater ! He is a fan of this game, maybe just the original SC, and is disappointed by the new SC2.
I wrote that there are things that have to be changed for the game. And that SC2 will be new, and that we will have to forget SC1 little by little. I insist that there are things that Blizzard has to modify. By his critics about SC2 this guy wanted to give some indirect suggestions. I agree with him about the Terran structures : they were shining, metallic, now in SC2 they are like in PVC. And the marine must not get this baillonnette on his gun.

I gave 5 stars to this guy.

 

While I understand what this dude is saying, I think that I would buy SC2 if it came out as is, I'm not even a huge fanboy, its just after so long anything blizzard gives me is better then nothing.

I mean sure lots of the flaws were minor and some greater, but ask yourself wouldn't you buy it now too?

but in the mean time let us continue or tom foolery of us that is fandom from the OMGS to the sensibles

 

When you look at SC1, you really see it is an ooooold game. Only in the graphism. So of course it is logic that SC2 will be different to SC1. But Blizzard had to create the classic unit like those in SC1. For instance the zealot does seem like the original one in SC1, but is different however.

 

Hmmm...yes we know there are sacrifices to switching to 3D, but I wonder what that same guy would be saying if Blizzard made a 2D SCII. That was a pretty harsh bit of nit picking for a game that is only in it's alpha stage.
