    So I just got SC2 and was enjoying it last night with some friends, it was working perfectly fine got a couple of games in. Then this morning when i went on again 3 minutes into my first match the game crashed. I tried opening it again about 3 times and each time it proceeded to crash earlier (clicking join game, login screen, crashing on startup) on the last crash Blizzard Repair opened up and told me my install path was corrupt but offered no solution (yes I have searched on the forums for solutions but none of the other posts described game running perfectly then crashing the next day) once i tried opening SC2 again it just restarted my entire computer, have uploaded my dxdiag help would me greatly appreciated, thanks in advance,

    Well your hardware specs seem about right.

    Have you tried increaing video card fan speed through ati control panel before starting the game.

    Perhaps try turning down the graphic settings.

    I would also make this change.

    In my documents/star craft 2

    variables.txt

    add the following lines the file.

    "
    frameratecap=60
    frameratecapglue=30
    "

    and save it.

    thanks for the reply first off,
    tried doing everything you said and none of it worked the game still crashes, maybe this will help;
    ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
    occurred at 001B:4FE1F5E0. The memory at '0x00000018' could not be read.
    its the error i get from starcrafts error reporter.

    Mine is having the same problem but not restarting my machine and no error messages. My Starcraft simply shuts down. Where can I find these error messages? I tried to reinstall which went ok until i tried to launch again and now it ask for a patch update and just loops when i hit yes.
