SC1 - Available on the web?

I was debating whether to put this in the computers + tech section or this one, so I just crossed my fingers and chose this one...

Anyways..

I know that I can download WoW off the WoW website (paying the price for the game of course) but is that available for SC1? I checked the Blizzard website but was unable to find anything. I could be blind but I swore I had my contacts on when I was looking through the site. Anyone want to drop some info on this?

No. They won't let you download the full version, even for payment.

You can either buy it in a store or download an ISO of the game and then just get a CD key, from either a generator or... other source.

 

you forgot to mention that the second option is less-than-legal

 

I think you can actually buy a CD key for it, which would make your copy half-legal if you got the game via torrent sharing.

But I don't understand why it is so hard to visit the nearest shop (possibly not the smallest one) and get the legal copy and the key for the price of a decent lunch.

 

I have troubles here with getting the SC, none of the shops have one..
I've learnt something about this. Never lend your favourite game to a friend..

Yeah, its not hard to actually drive to the store, its the problem of them having it in stock. Multiple times ive visited gamestop/eb and they are always out of stock.

 

You can put a down-payment on to ensure you get a copy if you're desperate.

 

Your best bet would be to order online and get the 1-day shipping option

 

I had the game already from a buddy of mind, but since i didnt have a CD for online play. I opted for buying the battlechest.

 

The shipping would probably cost 3 times as much as the price of the game itself... Then again, considering the price of gas nowadays... The amount of gas that it takes my Honda civic to get me to gamestop and back along with buying the game might be equal.. ill check that out.. lol

 

yeah, but usualy this out of stock means, that there will be no more deliveries.

You could download the demo and play it over and over again.

Lol, no thanx, I found an alternative way, I ordered it from a net shop. It was cheap actually, cheaper than I remember they sold it in shops.
