Oh at first I thought you meant like featuring game environments in space not actually being played by astronauts themselves in space in reality. I think it has a good chance of being true because I don't really think video games or playing them is a priority of any astronaut or space program especially when you are actually in space. So I doubt many of them would take something like that with them so it probably is.
They would all need recreation, but putting anything of weight into orbit is an issue. What can be more lightweight than software? Computer games are ideal recreation for astronauts.
