OK a buddy of mine e-mailed me a map he created and asked me to play around with it. I don't think he tested it. He just wanted me to see what I thought of it. The map is completely flat no water or barriers. It's meant to be 3 humans vs 1 computer. Each player starts off wit a few units and a few buildings. The weird thing is I was playing the map, and I was wondering why the computer Zerg was not rushing. When I get down to their base the computer player is just sitting there doing nothing. Do I have to put a particular string in to make the computer player actually do something?
1-Doing nothing, not moving drones? 2-Doing nothing, only getting overlord then harvest? 1- You need to add a Location at the zerg base and add an AI to the location that fits the race. 2- If the AI present is set to gather, he will never stop gathering and never upgrade. If you need more details about locations and adding AI Create a new location with Layer (in toolbar) then Location, draw one, rename it if you want. Place it over CPU base. Then create a Trigger Scenario (in tool bar) Triggers... Create New, Choose which player is the CPU, Click New, Choose Always -> OK -> Next, click New, choose Run AI script at location. Click on script to choose which script (pretty name intuitive) then choose the location (the one you created) Finish and VOILÀ. A brand new active computer to whack around.
Yeah I think I got it work, but I have to modify his map some more. I think he's got the human forces a lil too powerful to start off with
