Runescape VS Warcraft

i dunno for sure were to place this threat because there is a blizzard game and a non blizzard game in it.

the title says it: Runescape VS World of Warcraft!

i really dunno wich one is the best, and don't say that runescape is just an asshole game (many many ppl say that so...)

Runescape

+ able to play on almost anyones computer
+ MUCH MUCH cheaper
+ you can also play as non member
+ more different skills
+ no download
+ good quests

- low graphics
- not really action like fights
- small world
- easier to outplay (or not, but there arn't any expansions for higher levels)

WoW

+ good graphics
+ looks like you're fully IN the world
+ action fights with many extras
+ big world

- boring quests (kill X amount of boars and deliver X amount of fangs to me)
- less skills (you can only chose 3 skills, if i'm not mistaken)
- mainly killing things
- EXPENSIVE!!! omg...its to expensive!!!

just say what you think about these two games! if you like them or not? and what do you like?
maby i forgot some things?? tell me!!! i just want to know wich game is best!!! and you can help me

 

you can only choose 2 skills in WoW.

I think back of my runescape member days with much fondness, but in the end, runescape simply becomes boring(3 hours of coal mining in a row). So i'd have to go with World of Warcraft, especially with the new WotLK quests.
I miss a lot of things from runescape though

 

WoW, only good thing of Runescape is the expenses.

 

expenses??? i just think both games are great.... and i don't do 3 hours coal mining in a row XD...that is horrible and so boring. i just like the runescape quests alot! the only training i do is to mach the requirements of a quest.

and wow....i miss my old WoW friend Fightdwarf ... but he played it for about a month and then he just quit! i need to find another cool friend to go leveling and fighting with. i think WoW is boring if you're alone!

yup, there are many many games with really better graphics, but compared to runescape its great (i must say the grapics of runescape are improved...ALOT, but WoW is still better)

 

What the hell?

They both steal your soul, I've met people, that have played these games, and all they talk about, is the differences between them, and family guy, so ****ing boring omfg.

I mean get a life, or play sc with me, one of the two. Preferably both though.

 

i have a life i have friends(also RL friends including ijff) and i still think about important things and about school, i also like drawing and photographing and other things!!! so....i'm not a lifeless jurk who plays lifeless games!

 

That's not what I meant, not everyone who plays those games is like that, I'm just talking about a few that I know.

 

I played both with a reasonable amount of time. After playing, I've come to the realization that...

I'm not an MMORPG person. I had an RS character at level 54 then quit, I had a couple of WoW characters at level 65 then quit. But yeah out of those 2, WoW would be better.


PS. You should add, able to play on almost anyones computer for RS.

i played runescape longer than WoW because i know if from 2005 i play it that long (with many many pauzes, of half a year till one year) and now i have a lvl 77 caracter myselve i'm amazed how much time i spend (in total) to the game, but you can become lvl 99 within one month.....XD

and WoW, i just have ONE caracter i've played it 3 months(long story....) and i have a lvl 45 caracter a night elf hunter, called Asrath! i dunno wich game i like the most, after a long time they're both boring and repetive. but i mostly like the MMORPG part, making on-line friends and chat in game

mmm....apples and pineapples, i guess the pineapples are better! but it are two really different games and still the same! on another forum (a dutch one) they were chatting ALL the time about runescape, then some guys popped in and said RS was a stupid game and WoW was better, and now i just wanna know what MOST ppl think! you have WoW "fans" and RS "fans" but wich game is loved and liked the most??

Oh man. Goooood times with RuneScape. I used to spend forever in the TzHaar fight pits. I had Guthix armor iirc. I mostly spent my time running around making different outfits cause I'm not a grinder.

 

finally someone who understands. everybody says RS is just a game for nerds, but i think its fun (same as WoW btw)....just a question....what level are you (combat)....i'm just curious

 

I've given up on MMORPG even with the end content WoW is horrible. Runescape the graphics were painful to my eyes, and I couldn't see the point in playing that when I could go onto D2 and get the same quality graphics with out the grinding.

 

I've got no idea how to figure that out?
