Hey guys, I upgraded my video card to a 460gtx and just started playing sc2 again and noticed that when my roaches attack, I don't see their slime, I just hear it and sometimes see a very quick flash of their slime and it disappears. Any ideas as to why this is?
You should check what other things are missing for you and search on the official forums as those are filled with technical support stuff. I can only think of one thing, and that revolves around the method of upgrading your GPU. Did you use driver clearner to remove your old driver before putting in the new card? Have you run any tests from the dxdiag panel or via a third party programme? I suspect a lot of attack animations are of a single group, the incorrect display of which should show up in graphics tests and whatnot.
Well I found online that another guy just changed his resolution in the game to a lower setting and all the attacks he was missing came back, its a possible fix for you that I would try. Another thing I can think of is new video card.
