Report: Having Problems with Site Address?

Hey, just need a lil feedback from you guys.

Is anyone having trouble accessing the URLs for the site? sc2forums.org and starcraft2forum.org?

If you've gotten a server not found error recently (even if only for a few minutes) please vote yes in this poll, if you haven't experienced it at all, vote no.

Just so you guys know for future reference, if the URL isn't working you can use sc2f.com

Not recently anyway. Last time it happened for me was over a month ago. I think it happens to kurai a lot though.

no while at school, but yes while at home.

so it's not the site, but the internet connections at our house.

 

it is, jon told me before that's it's your provider that makes teh difference.

 

been getting this problem for about a week, doesnt really bother me tho since it happens usually between 8pm-10pm where im more focused on doing the dishes/cleaning the house a little bit most of the time.

 

Nono, I don't mean not getting the site. I mean a SERVER NOT FOUND error. As in the address doesn't exist.

The ISP error saying it could not find the DNS is not what I mean. That's usually an ISP specific address.

Anyway, all I'm saying is until I figure out what is going on exactly use sc2f.com if nothing else works.

not sure if this was directed at me or not, if so, yes, im getting the server not found at around those times, personally i blame wireless connection, which i just switch to about a week ago, it seems to always hit a low about then. i cant get onto a few of my other sites at that time either.

 

well i guess my vote counts afterall, just happened to me for about an hour.

 

jon, yes that's what it says for me. it says the site does not exist

 

Told you kurai had problems with it.

 

I've not had any problems.

 

I've had problems with it off and on, sometimes refreshing a few times fixes it, sometimes it doesn't. Thanks for the other url though Jon, I'll use that when it is acting up from now on.

OKay, yes, that's the error I'm looking for.

If you receive that error try sc2f.com.

After you do that for some reason you can then get back to the starcraft2forum.org or sc2forums.org. Seems to clear it up for some reason.

 

i'll try it next time. most the time, now, it's just that way for a few min. been a little while since it kep me out longer than that. maybe a week ago

 

sc2f.com doesn't work for me when I can't access it regular either.

Go figure.
