I know there is are threads pointing the same but this is important I spotted some comment around... "Blizzard is doing the stupid mistake of replacing Kerrigan and Raynor with other voice actors for StarCraft 2, even though both the original ones want the jobs again." So is this true? I hope not anymore. Are they demanding too much? I don't think so that a problem for Blizzard ... And... quality comes with a price.
1st welcome to the forums... 2nd they did bid farewell to the former actors.. 3rd its not a stupid move but for some reason they never told us what the true reason was,.. was it money, further goals, uncompremiseable agreements?? but at the end of it what matters is there will be a new voice... the truth is out there...
I give it 24 hours before it gets closed lol. but welcome to the forums and my thoughts on the voice actor changes. (because im going to say it somewhere and probably be flamed for it so it might as well happen here) I always thought the voice acting in SC was atrocious. So while I would prefer consistency, I'm not really all that disappointed. Seems like a perfect opportunity to improve the overall feel of the SC storyline to me. The differences in the voices can be justified by age and personality changes, and so on. Blizzard has the money to hire new voice actors(so i doubt money was the big issue). I say Fenix should come back as a hybrid and be voiced by samuel l jackson. lord knows he needs work anyway. I'd enjoy that at least.
I cross the fingers in shame on Samuel Jackson. Guy does everything now, game voices, esrb statements, still plenty of movies, seems like I just can't get away from the guy and I'd prefer he stays out of one of my favorite games of all time. Only voice I can say I'll be nostalgic about is Kerrigan everyone else is either a side character or dead one way or another except for Raynor. Which I can go either way on, didn't hate his voice but I didn't look up the actor to see his other works either.
