5) Banning :
A) Getting Loaded/Flooded
-When The Channel is getting loaded/flooded, only the leaders can use the Ops. No one else should use the commands.
-Let the Ops do the banning, no one needs to do it automatically.

B) Members
-Members can get banned for talking trash to a higher up.
-Members can get banned for being a pest/idiot.
-Members can get banned for BS'ing another member.
-Members can get banned for double clanning.
-Members can get banned for hacking against clan members.
-You are never allowed to ban a higher up. If you do, you will lose access.

C) Outsiders/Non E-Members
-Can get banned on point for no reason what-so-ever only by the leaders or people with the access.
-Being a pest/idiot.
-Talking trash.
-Thinking battle.net is life.
-Unless a friend of a members, they cannot be banned. Only by leaders.

I understand that this is B.Net and we all get on to have fun/play/chat in the long run(i hope). but with any group of people, you will always run into conflict at some point. We try not to parade on the rules like a cop who just got promoted, but we should always keep them in the back of our minds when in the channel and when in the presence of other members.

the 2 rules i highlighted in bold have been rules for as long as i have been here atleast (almost a year nao) and despite being obvious rules for all to see, We have been super leniant with Trigga, despite complaints and even members leaving over him. He has been warned in the past to stfu and was warned, kicked, then banned yesterday. Amongst the confusion, in the end, he will be given even more leniancy and we have decided to leave him be for the time being unbanned. This is the real beauty of E and we understand **** will fly and w/e, nobody is perfect. On the same note, trigga needs to calm down cause the next time it will be perminent.

--Access--

If you havent already seen Shadows post, access is being revoked for a short time period. Understand that this is just temporary. On that note tho i just want to mention a few things I saw. I know it isnt black and white inside of the rules, but members should not banning members unless there is no officer around and only under extreme circumstances. Even so, IMO, you shouldnt ban, but log or ss the situation so that it can be reviewed. Dont get it twisted though, for non-members this does not apply.

Weeman is an officer and banned a member using the correct methods prior and based off history of warnings.
Dark banned Trigga moments later and zlot banned dark there after. This should not have been apart of the situation.

Remember that this is always a delicate situation(banning members). Its why members have left in the past, even if its over a joke, and even why members have left, for abuse.

 

Trigga was truly offensive to my sexual oreintation, I asked him to stop, and he just started doing it more. Almost all of the leaders were there, and no one was doing anything, so I had to do something. I'm not just gonna sit there and be offended on that scale.

And for the sake of things, keep this thread on topic guys.

 

You dont have to sit there. "prnt scrn" button on your keyboard does wonders. You could also get on xbox with me ^_^ Nobody should be disrespecting you Dark inside of E and its your desition to ban him if you have access. Understand though that any action will have its consiquences, whether it be good or bad. The best thing to do in that sort of sitaution is to /squelch. Everyone needs to get over themselves and /squelch if things become to hot. Ive squelched trigga before. Ive also talked **** right back to him.

dark i <3 you, but like i said, banning members will ALWAYS be a delicate situation. and are treated carefully in every situation by those who have to. (shadow me 2can cow weeman)

 

Thank you tink for high lighting last nights events and our conclusions. Yes, we had a debate amongst the leadership and everything Tink has said is true. Why have a website if no one is going to read it? WHy bother having a rules page if it wont be followed? These are simple steps and simple rules.

I am pretty much going to have to make it mandatory in the near future that ALL NEW RECRUITS look at the rules page so they will be 100% liable for their actions in the future. I hate the fact that i give out so many chances to please both parties only for both parties to turn around and Say "Fu,ck You shadow, I'm going back on my word"

Its Drama like this that splits clans apart and destroys clanmates. This may have been a small issue at best, but the impact is very huge and leaves gaps and questions that need to be answered by Myself and the Leadership.

every action has a consiquence. You were not punished, but it definately reflected on the access revoke for this week.

I was also, getting the situation from weeman on AIM. Trying to get andrei's story, while trigga sits and spams, zlot defends trigga and you get offended, meanwhile people on the side throwing their comments and me trying to really absorb everything in a matter of what.. 10 minutes? if that? give me a break.

if a higher up talks trash to you? you mean out of the blue? and you take it serious, tell them to stop and they continue?

screenshot it and save the logs if you can(u have a bot right). And report it. If a higher up decides to be a **** then it needs to be addressed and you wont be able to ban any higher ups so.. you do what you gotta do and defend yourself.

On the other hand, tell a higher up to go **** themselves after being told to stfu during an obvious arguement, which is where i was directing that rule this thread(trigga), is bottom line not tolerated, but has been cause trigga is still hea.

screenshot and logs are best. especially for situations where people might lie, you have hard evidence. But this dont mean you can report ****. I talk **** alot too and get **** spoken back. it happens everyday and IMO no biggy. but if u and 2can are joking and cow interupts with stfu and a kick or ban, then this is an obvious problem that 2can or shadow need to address.

 

Dude thtas exacly wat happen yesterday exept with different names Andei[Pain] and Trigga_Happ[E] were talking trash to each other, joking I might add.Then weeman tells trigga stfu verbal warning so Trigga_Happ[E] saids it back.


Im not saying the message was not adrees to shadow. But I dont think the corparate or coparates were punish. Instead i feel that u guys found and escape goat or goats(clan) to protec one of your leaders.

I mean im not saying trigga is not at fault but you have to consider the fact he has come along way. Ever since that day Roman and Jayson snith on trigga to shadow. He has tried to for example he does no initiate stuff. unless you do. and if he does he stops unless you respond. And I believe that the situation got out of hand when Roman jump in AND Trigga attack him.

Note for Roman, your too sensative and if u cant handle the stuff said about you dont dish it out to beging with. To me you have a power you should not abuse like for example your banning of trigga, you have a higher rank then him only because he chose to stay a initiate. but remenber he been here longer then you. So all I did was return the favor.

Just to let the clan know I agrred with the desion to punish us by taking away our acces. but i feel like the punishment was one side. And not directed at the corparates.

I'm not *****ing for the temp removal of access, I have said no such thing, I actually think it was a good way to go about it.

this is also false i remember reading this i remember trigga telling weeman to stop sucking the other dudes **** among other things and then weeman said stop and he went on as he usally does and then he was kicked and so on. dont take this harshlly but u seriously need to get ur stories str8. u seem to just pop out of the blue yelling with these stories that are half untrue. now i know i often can get things mixed up because as we all know my memory blowsss but ur stories are so off they become just that a story. so plz if u think ur gonna bring something up later and u cant ss write down notes or something so u at least rememeber what happened.
