which would u like better the classic reaver... or the tall colossus?

    Advantages/disadvantage of reaver:

Con:needs time plus resource for scrabs...
Pro: large damage and splash hit
    con: walk like snails
    pro: heavy armor/life/shield

    Advantages/disadvantage of colossus:

    pro: walk up-down cliffs
con: targetd by air and ground
    pro: massive damage
    con: targets single units
pro: heavily armored with lots of life/shield
    con: hight cost
    what you think? :)

Actually, is it confirmed that the Colossus only does damage to a single unit at a time? Cuz while it's a concentrated beam, it looks like when the lasers actually hit there's a bit of a splash damage going on, or somehow that's what I assumed. Anybody know for sure?

    Collossus for sure.

They are cooler, and fit much more to the Protoss theme. To be honest, Reavers look too goofy to be a Protoss unit. Would make more sense if it was a Zerg unit and instead of shooting scrabs, it shoot some sort of acid balls that work exactly like how the scrabs worked.

Colosi, their laser doesnt do splash but as it moves along to find its next target is deals damage to the units in the way.

I gotta go with the collosus, although i love the reaver too. The collosus IMO is one of the best new units they have created so far.

Reavers hadn't a massive HP/armor. They were too fragile BTW. I remember hunting them down with my scouts. Dead-meat. Even though I loved their design and concept, it's time we move on. Not towards Nomads perhaps. But hey, since you guys mentioned: what if the Zergs create a unit that works and looks like the Reaver? Lol, better not create a false hope!

ill take both. one is splash, the other is high focused damage.
and for cons for the colossus, costs twice as much as reavers.

Reaver. You can't do a Colossal drop really and take out their workers.

You can do better: you can enter their base from behind and THEN tak out their workers. ;-)

Colossi can barely outrun Banelings. The Shuttle could go there and back in the time the Colossi get there.

They did escape the Banelings in the first demo. The only reason they were caught is because they tried to stay and fight in the beginning.
