I ordered the CE version for release day delivery, and I got it on the 27th, but I haven't been able to play yet because my bnet account was compromised. It has a WoW account on it that hasn't been active since may, and after checking armory it looks to be intact, but there is an authenticator on the account that I did not add to it. When I discovered this problem, I immediately ran a virus scan, changed my email pass, and my bnet pass. I then contacted blizzard support. On the 24th I received an email that my claim had been forwarded to a specialist, and that it would take a few days, and other people I have talked to have stated that it takes anywhere from a few days to a week. This saturday is supposedly the end of the wait, unless further complications come up or I am required to provide further identification, but I really want to start playing now. Would creating a new bnet account and adding scII to it, and then asking blizz to merge it into my main account after the compromise is settled be an option?
Yeah, I've called Blizzard several times over the past few days, and most of the time I find that the hold queue is already full. There was one time I called early in the morning that I got through, and the automated asked me what the nature of my call was, which was security compromise, at which point it told me that the best way to handle this was to send billing support an email, and then the call abruptly ended
Tomorrow will be the week since it was forwarded to a specialist, which was a few days after I sent in the first email. I think I will wait on the phone to talk to a human, and maybe get this done, but I haven't even been able to get on the queue the last few times I have called. I probably should have tried to get through on the billing services phone line before SCII was released
