This sounds great. The selecting questions to ask sounds like SW:KotOR. That would be cool. It also adds a little more depth to the story itself, which is always appriciated.

 

man single player briefing are a huge step up from simple screen with reading material lol cant wait for the story i know its going to be a good one

 

Heh heh, I remember way back....We had a thread about briefings and how they should be more interactive. I don't think any of us expected this.

This is incredible; Blizzard has really outdone itself with the new campaign style. The ending of that video was the best part; the coming of the Xel’Naga, and obviously the hybrid is great news. So much is left open for the campaign, its just fantastic what Blizzard has done. I think I just had a nerdgasm.

*EDIT* My only complaint is the new voice of Jim Raynor, it may be just me, but it didn't sound too much like the old Jim.

 

Man Protoss are a lot beefier than I thought, or maybe it's just Zeratul? Whoever opened the Temple in BW was a whimp...I agree... the voice is weird.

Edit: Why can't they make the DT's in the game look like Zeratul :-\

 

that was zeratul and artanis. and all protoss are that lean and thin waisted with wide hips and reverse jointed knees.

 

because zeratul is unique

 

wow i'm kinda speechless after watching that video... god damn i want the game in my hands NOW!! Interactive briefing.... terran makes sense... protoss mental speaking/interactivity... zerg...??? wonder how zerg will turn out (u as kerrigan talking to cerebrates?) Also I wonder if there will be a briefing then suddenly zerg attacks and the people panic. And why the cliffhanger Blizzard WHY T.T

*edit ooo i like the terran song and also was i the only one already formulating plans about the mission? (eg have some vikings in air mode and attack the colossus instead of all ground)

Eh, the voice of Jimmy was a bit weird at first, but it grew on me after about 3 minutes. My question is how does Matt Horner afford the snappy clothes

 

he probably was once in the dominion, then defected and just kept his uniform because hes all about formal dress. im assuming.

 

Unique in NOT wearing Zerg bone adorned armor? Heh... sort of reversed there. Looks like those DT's were twinked.

it's going to suck when Matt Horner turns out to be a dominion spy and spy rapes Raynor...

I wonder if the Protoss ship is going to be Carrier (like the Gant... whatever you spell it.... lol) a Warp Ray (booo) or a mothership (before yay, now meh)

Dont know what Zerg one will be, perhaps just a Hatchery on Char, I don't see why KErrigan wouldn eed to move around places when she can send swarms of stuff.. aside fromthat maybe an overlord? Or a huge thing we havent seen yet which is like a Zerg mothership.

 

Yeah, although I saw the Single Player Campaign Mode, this link had way beter resolution. First time I saw Jim, I'm all like, "OMG Jim looks so differnt." Did you see on the side of his arm, his sleeve was rolled up and there was a pack of cigs. I never thought of him as a guy down in the dumps. They totally changed his adittude. I don't like it. He looks cooler but that is it. What happened to old Jim?

Just to let you know it is the same voice what do you mean. He just has a different choice of words and is a little more agresive/ asertive. And he sounds like he's always loaded.

Jim's been on the run for 10 years, he still can't get over Mengsk, he has to kill Kerrigan because she killed Fenix, and he never had a chance to get some Kerrigan booty...and on top of that his team's on the verge of mutiny. I could imagine that having a damper on his life

 

But they found the artifact. He said it would be different this time. New Jim is a liar, what happened to yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuu!! You used to be cool..

 

James pretty much got PoP:WW'd... if anyone gets the analogy.
