Zeratul11, it means to sell to the forum members to be purchased with a low amount of minerals. The "Second Coming" one is up at the shop for like, 100 minerals each. I think if anybody really did want it 100 minerals is just a ridiculously measly price to pay. I don't see why anybody would actually wanna go through the trouble to copy/download it from somebody else who already has it just to save 100 minerals. Oh, and as far as selling it goes, you'd just have a low resolution preview image up at the site/thread and if somebody wants it then u, as the creator, can send it to them via PM or email or some'n.

1600x1200? its to big. what is the highest resolution for a monitor? can i make a 1200x768.

 

Hey! Look at the wallpapers posted here! They go beyond that! It's probably 1600 x 1200 for high resolution wallpaper making.

 

Higher resolutions allow more people to use the wallpaper. Generally the highest resolution for a widescreen monitor is 2560 x 1600, the second being 1920 x 1200. Overall, 1600 x 1200 is the third highest resolution, although it's usually the highest for a non-widescreen monitor.

 

2569x1600!?! howly sheeet. i never knew there was screen as wide as that. hhmm. im going to buy the biggest widescreen for starcraft 2. ^^

 

Yea, how high of a resolution do those gorgeous mac monitors go up to? Like the 30 inch wide screen ones? I swear having one of those bad boys is like a wet dream come true...

Ummm... back on topic. Anyone care to tell me if, for the competition, they'd like to see a badass model of a Thor (it'd be all Maya) or if I were to upload the one I did of a Maya/drawing hybrid of Kerrigan awhile back when the admin announced he was GOING to have a wallpaper contest? Kerrigan was modeled in Maya in Ghost/uninfested form with a handdrawn background of her infested tilting her head back in a...shall I say, fairly seductive pose?

I feel like the Thor would be quite loved but I feel like I'd be cheating a lil by doing all 3D stuff again when it's not something that many of you have access to. So any feedback would be great, thanks!
