but now that Aiur is in ruins, could this be the end of the protoss? if so then the zerg will remain the only obstacle to UED's plan of galactic conquest

But no, Shakuras has a psionic field too, from the Argus stones.

 

Shakuras gives out the psionic energy similar to that of Aiur's.

 

the eat through there eyes, do they actually have eyes or jsut bits of skin that glows?

 

Another thing, what kind of vision to they have? In more lore, races with glowey eyes see in either the infrared spectrum, or some weird one.

According to the StarCraft wiki, which cites one of the novels, the Protoss are photosynthetic: they gain energy from light. At the same time, it fails to tell us how they get their nutrients.

 

Maybe they don't need nutrients....When they die, they turn into a blue flame....Maybe they just run on pure energy.

 

This is science fiction so really anything is possible.

They laugh through psionic/telepathic signals. Which we cannot understand how it works.........
