omg the thing that looks attached to the command center looks like some kind of repair bot... cause you can see the red lightning thingy pointing to it.

man what looks to be a protoss statue in the 1st screen looks sooo protoss-ishly amazing haha

 

i think that that CC is in the process of being built/upgraded.

look at the zealots blades in the first pic! they look so much larger/brighter, almost like there was a visual representation for their attack being upgraded.

 

and look at the shield contact on the colossi, its like a small ripple from the marines guns, and looks really nice. as does the shield contact on the pheonix in the second pic.

if zealot blades get bigger and brighter, i cant wait to see what other units will have!

 

Everyone remember the first gameplay vid when the warp rays were destroyed and the scv's came back to build you see a 4 foot high crane appear over the contruction (which i find odd) anyway it doesn't look like its being build so i will assume it is a fixer or an upgrade.

edit: never mind it is one of the scv's new "tools" like the crane it seems to be building it while a box like structure surrounds it.

 

OMFG the idea of the warp blades getting bigger is the BEST thing I have heard in a while!

i don't like how they changed the siege tank and the tempest should be a lot bigger... but everything else looks AWESOME !!!! can't wait!!!

 

The "repair bot" seems more like a building upgrade animation to me, so Command Center -> Planetary Fortress. If you compare the concrete wall around the CC to the original building animation from the first SC, you'll see that the wall looks very similar to the foundation the SCV lays down as part of the building animation.

 

The new seige tank isn't being shown until BlizzCon, so I don't see how you could know what the new seige tank looked like, unless you were referring to the way they changed from the first SC to the second SC, or unless you have inside information on their new looks, in which case I'm sure we'll all be happy to see.

 

they have done more work on the pylons aswell, it looks alot sharper and cooler.

 

Feedback is key, but there is a catch.
I'm happy starcraft2forum.org is quite civilized, quickly becoming my favorite site, but on sites like Blizzforum.com there are quite a few trolls stating their opinions as if those are the opinion of the community as a whole.
For example, there is a guy spamming the forum with 1000s of posts, with "THE REAVER IS NEXT ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK! IT NEEDS TO GO!" in his signature.
He probably has the idea in his mind that if he spams and whines enough Blizzard will notice it and think it's the general opinion of the community.
I'm sure Blizzard, with their WOW forum experience is professional enough to look through that, but still... I saw it a few times in MMO's in the past, a game mechanic was liked by the majority but not by a minority with the biggest mouth and still it got changed.

 

i agree, we have to hope that blizzard doesnt listen to 95% of the communities suggestions because most of them suck.
what was it about the 10 seconds of gameplay footage that made everyone go nuts over the soul hunter, it would have been nice if people gave blizzard a little freedom to try out new stuff before being tards

 

Ok, I wasn't around yesterday because I got into a minor fender-bender on the way to work and didn't make it to my desk. I checked in at home but didn't see this.

RedDragoon could not be more right. I love the zealots' new warp blades. Seeing them this long makes me think about how I could have ever accepted anything shorter. ;D

And it's official. I am now totally up in the air as to what my race will be in SC2.

I agree with the Tempest being bigger, but if it is now faster than the Carrier is, then it seems logical that it should be smaller (than the Carrier), I think that the Tempest probably had a lot of balancing out done on it.

 

About that thing with capital ships, there still all (well if the old ones were still here) prety much the same size as always, its just the fact that there 3-D that makes them smaller, so now knowing that they should make them bigger so that all the retards (no offence to anyone who dosent deserve it) don't think they shrunk them.

 

i dont think the bigger version of zealots psi blades are upgrades. i think blizzard have change it now, they said their still enhancing the graphic engine of the game, supporting bigger laser and more explosions etc, so the larger version of psi blades was an example i guess.

i have problems looking at marines shooting air units or units above cliffs. i don't see their guns pointing upwards to where they shooting, they are shooting straight ahead of them even against air units etc., im not exactly sure tho. but this is a big deal to me, cause this is a simple detail that can be easily notice. i hope they do something about it.

can't wait for blizzcon. so when exactly in august?

maybe the thing near the cc is a new unit/structure with the ability to repair fast.
