I played it a few times... stopped cause it was too annoying to be called a noob all the time (you just don't get the chance to learn, and they're unwilling to explain certain things)... then after a while I looked at someone who was good at it, and got it a bit more, played it again a few times with much more success now... and then stopped again for no specific reason... also people can be so hateful in these kinda games by calling players 'feeders' and such...

I like it though =)

 

Yup, same with you, DOTA is the only reason that I am playing Warcraft III now. ^_^ However, I will definitely stop when SC2 come out !

You mean bone fletcher? That's a dirty little bastard But it is nerfed since you can't make aegis anymore. No more Divine Aegis combo.

 

Dota is one of the greatest game I have ever played...

Dota is not a game, it's just a custom map However, some of my friends don't know WC III, they do know DOTA.... :furious: :furious:

 

yah, i play DOTA. its actually quite popular here in the Philippines(its almost as popular here as Starcraft is in Korea.

these are my fav. characters:lucifer, dwarven sniper, rikimaru and of course MIRANA NIGHTSHADE.

I use mostly agility heroes and my most competent hero is Luna Moonfang the Moonrider.

PeterPetreli sounds like a pro. Skilled players often play random mode to use heroes on the spot and still play well. LOL I also do not use Intelligence heroes.

 

Yea, Pros play random. I admit I am not pro, but not a noob either :-[ I play random so that I can always stick with pros and I like to support ;D

 

I would play dota tons more if I could find my WC3 disc. I like being the drunken panda guy.

The new hero Templar Assassin has style. I like the Psi Blades skill and Refraction. Only bad part is the unit used. Protoss dark templar skin would make it better hehehe.
Sacred Warrior's a crazy killing machine!!! Give him heart of tarrasque and some armor = GG!

I only ever played it before frozen throne, after that i was just lost. Luna was awesome! The ultimate thing, the group of lucent beams...fuck that was cool when ya could fire one of them off. And her goat dudes were pretty strong after lvl 3 too. Man i wish my computer still worked...I'm using my mum's mac now you see, and even though the disc is mac compatible, this computer has the worst graphics card ever. But yeah...DOTA rulz!

 

DotA is a great game! I enjoy it much more than standard WC3 gaming. Been playing it for just over a year now.

 

If you are on Azeroth, we could get a few game in together (xxrazxx). The new patch (6.44b) has some great new additions to the game.
