I was disappointed in SC1 when Terran didn't have any chaingun weapons. Woo for Vikings.
Thor is going to be a big intimidating bastard. I'd be more afraid of those than the Mothership.

Anybody else notice the tanks don't have lips anymore? It's just a colored tip now.

Have they done something to Reapers? Cause I think it looks much more sinister than before. You must have noticed the skulls located above their shoulders. I like them ;D

I also find the new ''Mine ability'' interesting. I wonder how it works.

 

I just love how the Terrans have to get silly but golden details painted onto their armor.

 

I wasn't disappointed at all learning about the new terran units. I can't wait for information on the new zerg units, as I am sure they will be amazing.

how can the other two races fend off against the monsters the terran have now created...
these units are seriously making protoss look horribly crap.....

 

haha ya know at this rate, the zerg might be revealed prolly mid August after Blizcon or maybe during Blizzcon. hey ya never know! ^_^

 

all the new units are awesome.

if you notice in the screenshot there is a building with a pink/red neon sign and a hologram of the guy in the city with the huge hologram and the terran dominion flag. So, I'm betting the main faction you will be playing as for terran will be the dominion.

the ghost having a call down reinforcements ability is cool. and the snipe ability.

 

Here are my exact reactions for each unit.

Viking: Gattling gun *****es!

Banshee: Death from above!

Ghost: I need reinforcements!

Marine: You want a piece of me boy?

Reaper: does this suit make me look fat?

Cobra: COBRA! (GIJoe)

Thor: *drool*

I always liked the strategies with Terran and Blizzards going to get me tinkering again.

 

man if this is what blizzard has for protoss and terran i wonder what they have in store for zerg....

I really just love how Blizzard really took in the "defensive" nature of the Terrans and went with it. In my opinion, the three races sort of each had their own style in this system: Zerg = offensive, Terran=defensive, and Protoss=balanced. So I noticed that they had a bunch of things that sort of "up" the defenses like the sensory towers, the planetary fortress upgrade, and even the lowering of supply depots to have the units walk on them. To my understanding, I doubt you can still BUILD anything on top of those supply depots while lowered, so the only practical use for them to lower would be so that any units in your base could roam over to them and attack invading units, thus having a much better chance of saving your base. That makes sense to me.

Oh, that and being able to save the couple of SCV's that dance around the top left corner of the map trapped behind two Supply depots. I guess Blizzard realized that drives neurotic ppl like me crazy, haha.
