RE: Counter-Strike Source VS 1.6

Which do you think is better? DISCUSS!!!



Preferably, I like 1.6 ALOT better. Gameplay is nice, learning curve is harder, and I love to scrim in 1.6!

 

I also like 1.6. The hit boxes in CSS can be very off... For example i was playing in office and with the m4, from the long hall i just sprayed and got a headshot.
However, the grenades in CSS are a lot better and the visual effect makes it worth playing more than 1.6.

 

CS:S has more people, so CS:S it is.

 

CS:S has a lot of strange mods too, so if you get bored with the conventional CS... you can mozy off to zombie mod or w/e else is on.

 

I like Fy_Ice mostly and I play the FUn map channel, or used to. It had like pirate boats and stuff, and I love the one where you slide down the huge slide XD! Sorry dont know map names =/

 

I remember glass maps, I had so much fun annoying my team by breaking everything ^^;

 

CS:S, basically the same exact game with better graphics. and more people.(even if they are all hackers)

The Older the better, especially the community...
When you start out with such a good game as 1.6, you will nevet like all those pricey new one...
20USD for Half-life 1 and 1.6
60USD for all the other crap

 

I haven't played this game for a long time and i loved the office map (terrorist win!)
anyhoo anyone know how to surf here?
