I think we have all seen at least one good / funny rage player Here's what happened: I was random on Lost Temple vs a terran player and I decided to just try my luck attacking the nearest base with all my probes and killed off his workers while losing some with lots of clicking and giggling. He "YOU HACK!!" Me "no?" He "How did you kill my workers if I had more than you?" Me "good question" He "I am going to gut you" Me "no thanks " He "...in real life" has left the game! I've told you mine so tell me yours.
Them: are you fu*ken serieous? Me: learn to scout your base. Them: you noob! Me:you squid! They rage quit cause "somehow" they allowed me to build a hatchery and 4 spine crawlers in their base.
Hah, that's just pathetic! I really only have one /ragequit story that happened back when I was in Bronze League. I was playing a ZvT on Steppes of War and had gone for mass Roaches, while my opponent seemed to be going for the standard bio ball. What I eventually found out was that he'd focused almost entirely on producing Marines, and a handful of Marauders. Since I didn't have to worry about Missile Turret detection or Siege Tank rape I went ahead and busted down his choke, burrowed before his M&M could respond, then resurfaced at his mineral line. I was totally obsessed with using Roaches at the time, so I was pumping them out as many as I could as fast as I could. Even with a dozen or so losses due to Scanner Sweeps, I ended up with more than thirty roaches in his base, constantly running from a group of M&Ms that I probably outnumbered anyway. My opponent was swearing like a sailor the whole time, until he finally /ragequit after calling me a humongous prick.
I've only had a handful of ragequits myself and I'm happy to say that most of the matches I've played have been good games(kudos to blizz matchmaking system), and asside from the odd "cheese" some people accused me of doing for making void rays at the 16 min mark I don't remember much tragic qqs.(I think I posted a couple occasions on a similar thread) I have rage-quit 3 games in a row though(rage against myself for not scouting, not my opponent) and left without a gg after being cannon-rushed 4 times in a row and losing all 4 of them(I was like "DOH! I'm stupid as hell!" and left the game ) it's a funny thread though! Add your stories!
I didn't even have time to finish my first supply depot that the guy had ragequit... lol Here's the message log : Me: Gl hf Him: Why do you keep doing this to me? Him: ??? Me: Ummm... Him: Seriously you're an $%&!hole. Me: Yep, totally. Him: Why would I want to play with you anyway...?!? Him: %&$! you!!! Me: Thank you. RedMist has left the game! The game basically last less than 2 minutes lol.
r u ready? During SC2 Beta: He: Are you ready? Me: ?? He: sure? Me: wtf! My 1st eva probe rush......he comes into my base killing my workers GG...so pissed. So I GG and start new game...same guy again!!! He: Hi Me: wtf??! you again He: rdy? Me: NO! He: Gonna do it again. He did...second time.. I had 1 probe scouting so he was ahead in probes...I was so pissed. ( But never lost to proberush again)
My story is so full of wierd your heads will explode like a zergling getting hit with a nuke. It was PT v TT and I started out building a bunch of photon cannons like I always do. My teammate did some early rushes and took out the first guy and started building a larger army for the big rush at the end while I built Immortals. He started bugging me to help him so I participated in his next big assault and killed some siege tanks with my immortals before being promptly torn apart by marines. My teammate just said 'you suck' and quit the game WHILE WE WERE WINNING. Now I was stuck with no units against an opponent who had at least one expo on top of his big main base (which survived the attack by the way). I quit shortly after.
Last night I had a ZvZ which lasted 1 second. The other guy was just a tiny bit more fed up with the matchup than I was, so he auto F10+n'd after the loading screen.
