Rage Page - What you hate about Starcraft II!

Havn't seen something like this on here so I figured I'd be the guy to take the chance of being flamed and post it here. What are some of the big things that really piss you off about Starcraft II or anything even close to Starcraft II. Ready! Set! Rage!

I hate how Blizzard is so fail in terms of fixing problems such as gaining achievments... Or rather the lack of gaining them when one should.

I hate how cheesers get so butthurt when you beat their cheese they just quit without saying GG. When I cheese and it fails I say goodjob before I leave.

I hate how people who do some strat like rush or cheese and you know that's the only thing they know how to do well and end up beating you and then talk mad trash.

I hate when people talk trash when the outcome of a battle is incredibly slim.

I hate partners who have above 1000 minerals just sitting there and only have 2 units.

I hate getting steamrolled. -.-

I hate partners than blame you for the loss when you do better than them.

I hate noobs that go mass voidrays or better yet, mass vikings.

I hate double proxy zealot rushes.

Could go on forever, but here's some to get started.

One thing I do like though is having a terrible partner leave and give me 3k minerals and gas and I end up winning the 2v1. xD Freaking love that.

 

Most of those are not SC2-specific. And most people won't take you seriously if you rage about certain strategies. You need to learn that there is no such thing as a noob strategy. I mean that's like saying a certain language is better than the rest :wacko:

Finally, this is a duplicate thread but since our search function is utter crap I'll let it be.

 

Way to live up to your title Mr. CorrectionsOfficer. -.- But if you read closely it says ANYTHING CLOSE TO STARCRAFT II. And in my mind all of the things I listed were purly about Starcraft II. Sure they were Starcraft things in general as well but I was speaking in terms of Starcraft II. In terms of the strat crap... Really doesn't bother me more than the next guy. Sure I get butthurt when I lose to a lame strat but whatever wins the game wins the game. Simple as that.


English is the best because I speak it. o.o

 

I hate how, i have no life when sc2 came out.

 

It's in SC2 General and the thread title says "about SC2"... nice one.

It doesn't bother you more than others yet you go on about 'lame' strategies. I see you have difficulty admitting how you wind yourself up about strategies you can't counter. Don't worry, practice makes perfect. It also results in the ability to admit failure and try again.

Lastly, the language stuff? Yeah that's unfounded and attests to your trolling. Move along.

As for the thread, I hate how a minimised game can't load replays that I want to open via Firefox. Might just be the case with previous version replays but still - those are what we currently have.

 

Cannon rushes, with a fiery passion.

Also, opponents who talk trash when on the verge of losing a game. I beat you; get over it.

 

People who spend whole matches screaming insults and swearing. Typicaly going on about your newbieness or connection.

Double when its your partner!

 

Silent rage when my 2v2 partner (who I know IRL and is in diamond league 1v1) rushes to void rays without walling off, or blocks MY units with sentries, or when we barely lose to an attack, he leaves and I get his 2000 minerals and 1000 gas.

Hah, that sounds really annoying. It reminds me of a friend of mine I know IRL. He and I and a bunch of other IRL friends play team games from time to time. The annoying thing is all he ever does is turtle the hell out of his main base as Terran, and even past Tier 3 his standing force is a M&M squad that never seems to go over 20 units.

He also tends to leave at the first sign of the opponent(s) attacking his base, even though the would-be attackers are usually caught off-guard and blown to bits by a ridiculous amount of Siege Tank/Missile Turret/Bunker fire. After that our opponents combine their armies and pick off our comparatively soft and squishy bases, forcing us to fall back to the abandoned base with whatever workers and surviving forces we have left. Somewhat entertaining at first, but it gets old quickly.

 

Hates:

- The thrown-together-like-ness of the campaign.
- how zeratul's talking was way to overstressed (to sound cool)
- The death of chat rooms
- The death of hosting games with names.
- How bliz changed a classic, not add on (read above two)
- friends list. looks stupid, cant massage all ur friends.
- leagues. no. WHY DOESNT THE REGULAR A-D and E WORK?!
- achievements. why. why. why. they unlock profile pics. moar plz. MORE!
- battlenet 2.0 has no builtin browser. u have to minimize sc2 to look at news from inside. i cant do that ill have to close sc2.
-how bliz took 3 years only to throw this up.

It's called English. One of the most efficient languages to be created. American English that is. British and especially Australia English are the most terrifying creatures that ever existed.

 

Not trying to correct you Insanity, but English is one of the most difficult languages to learn.

Have you heard South African English? It's like British English but in slow motion and at a low pitch, or sometimes it's like British English but at a high speed high pitch. (But it really depends on how hard you are concentrating on Starcraft 2 at the time)

I hate cloaked bancheese.
I hate having to manage my base every 30 seconds of the game.
I hate/love SCV's repairing Thors. It's so awesome, sometimes I wish I played Terran.
I hate having to sacrifice an overlord to gain scouting information.

I love burrowing Ultralisks. They are sooo cute.

 

Fail insane freaking computer partners! >=o

i hate when people just leave without saying something like gg. i think blizzard should add something to the game that makes the person who wants to rage quit or just quit because of some other reason say gg before they can press surrender.

 

I LOVE the rage I get from people when I remain completely silent.

I don't say GG whether I win or lose... MUAAHAHAH

On a serious note, you guys would be amazed how many people go on swearing tears because I don't gg, its quite hilarious.

Its like, their minds simply cannot compute why it is not required... lol

 

I HATE COMPLAINERS THAT DONT ACTUALLY TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE GAME.

I hate ppl who hate sc2 and i hate all the ppl who think they are good but they ain't.

 

I hate the new patch,my poor siege tanks.
