R.I.P. Terran Wraith : (

It looks like the terran wraith is the one unit that will be certainly gone for good. post here if you will miss the terran Wraith.

i always thought the wraith was the coolest terrain unit, or at least the coolest air unit (marines and ghosts were pretty stylish too). is no one else devastated by this loss of a badass unit?

here is a poem i wrote to memorialize the wraith.

roses are red,
violets are blue.
you will be mad.
when my wraiths fuck up your carriers.

RIP terran wraith.

 

that's a hilarious poem. never used the Wraiths much, but I liked them alot.

Wraiths.. They were nice, and I would be glad to see them flying in the spaces of StarCraft 2. But they left, to leave place for other, maybe better units, so don't be sad about this.

Wraiths were so cool to surprise your enemies back on their mineral fields...

I guess I will miss'em a lot, `cause it's a fact that they were very useful against any flying unit. For me, it was very cool,, and very funny to take down enemies overlords... or groups of units without any radar ( overlords, observers,,, )

Starcraft2 is coming,
but wraiths now rest in the grass
if carriers are returning,
let wraiths kick their ass

Wraiths were nice indeed, but SC2 is a new game so I think is great that they were removed from the game. Sorry but that's what I think

 

Its for the good, but! I just started using Wraiths and I like em cause they are good at micro and harassment!

 

This makes me sad as well. I remember far to many games pulling a coupe with my wraiths. Some jerk with a fleet of carriers and observers come in, thinking they are invincible...then I cloak my wraiths fly in from behind and micro click each observer...loosing only maybe 6-8 wraiths in the process of removing their detection, i quickly dispatch the entire fleet...opponent quits I win.


RIP Wraith, you were a grandly specialized unit that we will all miss, except Protoss players.

 

thats why we need the predator back. we need a wraith replacement, give us the predator!!!

I'm expecting that Wraith will be still available in map editor... on the other hand, Banshee is honorable descendant of Wraith...

i want something that goes good against AA and can cloak
not some stupid ass star wars unit

 

no no,we don't need the predator.we need some unit that can actually attack air and ground.without having to transform or anything

 

the predator looks so cool though!

I liked the wraith. It was a good strategic unit because of it's abilities to cloak and attack air and ground units. Too bad it's gone :[
