okie what are the green and oj bars for? what does that mean why is mine low OMDSLKFAJDKL;FAJSLKFAJSDL;FKADJSFJAL;SDK IM FREAKING OUT MAN!!!!!!!!!!!! IM LOW ON GREEN AND OJ ASJDFLASJ;FALSJL

Put your white arrow on the bars and the voices will tell you what they are. But here's a summary just for you:
Orange bar calculates experience by using your statistics about postcount, threads started, how many times you've been thanked, how many friends you have, how many visitor messages you have, and lots of other things.
The green bar calculates your activity by the number of posts you have and your posts/day ratio.

And I have no idea what a sym is.

 

He means symbol.

That symbol is the one you get when you chose protoss as your favorite race.

However just being logged in doesn't as i have never logger out...ever

 

well neither have i
but it automatially puts you offline once you are inactive for a certain time
i'mn in chat all the time, ald occasionally scan the forums, so i think it works for being in chat, too.
