I have a 16 inch CRT monitor and when I play SC2 it's zoomed in insanely far and won't let me zoom out. I tried going back to my old monitor, a smaller Dell flatscreen and when I started the game it just turned into a bunch of colors. Does anyone know why either of these are happening?
Maybe you're just used to games giving a better overview of things from further away? SC uses a rather close perspective as compared to, say, Supreme Commander (?), so if the camera doesn't zoom out any further when you scroll down then it's what you'll have to get used to.
Well the thing is on my old monitor it was more zoomed out but now that monitor won't work with SC2 for some reason and when I watch the Day9 Daily his is zoomed out way further than mine is.
Can you use a camera and take a similar picture between the CRT and your LCD? On older CRT's you have to adjust the maxium V and H limits using the controls on the monitor EVERY TIME THE RESOLUTION CHANGES. What make and model is your CRT?
