Hello guys Just bought SC2 today and I would have some questions (this game rocks and its not a question btw ) - The void ray has a base attack of 5, right? But then when the beam gets bigger, is this getting more powerful? Because I can see that even when the beam gets bigger it still has base attack of 5 - The carrier and its interceptors: when the interceptors get damaged and get back into the carriers, will get get restored? Also, it is said they do 2x5=10 damage, but how do they attack? It is said they deal 2 attack rapidly one after the other. But I see 2 beams getting out at the same time. SO does this mean they attack with 2 beams simultaneously (which means 2x5) or 2 beams are 1 attack (5 damage) and then they reattack just after (5 dmg again)? I assume it is like the Zealot and the Colossus: 2 attacks at the same time. It is difficult for me to evaluate the real damage of the interceptors coz they are so fast LOL. Wish I could have a carrier with only 1 interceptor to test. What do you guys think (or know)? Many thanks
with the void rays im not sure about the growth rate of the atack but i know that if they stay on the one target for a while it can deal a heafty amount of damage but with the inticeptor i do beleave that each beam is 5 do its bang 10 damage bang 10 damage etc etc
it only has 2 levels now, base and fully charged. base is 5 damage, charged is 10 damage +15 to armoured targets.
The void ray gets +10/+15 to armored and building = a lot. I've seen 3 void rays take down a command center in like 10 seconds. Distract your opponent away from his base with a small front attack, bring in your voids and kill his command center. Rarely can you recover from that. Carriers just kick *** in general, is there much more to ask?
The only time carriers are good are if they're massed, but that doesn't happen in ranked PvP. Or at least it shouldn't happen.
I was going to ask why the void ray is said to be weak against mutalisks and strong against corruptors when the two Z fliers have no relevant modifiers. Why isn't this VR damage bonus indicated anywhere? -.-
