hey guys, my friend called steve always gets pwned by me, and he was so angry and said "you suck you always cheese never go for standard build" and i was like "what? twogate opening is standard theres no such thing as one gate play its not sc:bw!" so he played for a month and hes in bronze and i played for a day and got into silver skipping the bronze isn't two gate opener standard in PvZ?
I will personally find you and break your fingers if you do that. On a related note, any tips on how to stop it? Because I think I saw it a tad too late in one of my recent matches and allowed my expansion to go up but I can't imagine how I'd keep up with units off of 1 base (even with a second hatch).
How many? Because they had something like 4 zealots 8 stalkers and a colossus... Regardless, even if I do manage to defend and destroy the pylon, is the 4-gate robo detrimental enough to their economy? Because if I go crawlers I'll not only lose out on drones but also troops (for a counter attack for example).
4gate robo will completely drain the resources of a single base if you commit to it. You need 2 bases to be comfortable with it and start adding more gateways, 1 base won't let you build anything else...
