I'm rather new, actually very new to this game. I'm in the bronze league and I'm still losing. I thought I was doing very well in this game. But the guy literally turtled his base up. I expanded as much as I was, but I still ended up getting destroyed by about 50 marines. He simply out-manned me. http://www.sc2replayed.com/replays/53658-1v1-terran-protoss-scrap-station
PvT huh... hmmm advice: use units that counter others. RINES. 50 RINES. 50 rines = a lot of low-hp units. counter: AoE. *cough**cough* colossi 50 rines = a lof of low-hp units with high DPS due to weak but fast weps. counter: Armor. (Guardian shield is freakin amazing against rines) ofc i always use a variety of units cuz i retarded and tech everything for no reason. but im only in silver league so waddo i know? xD hmm...ill try to upload a couple of replays i have for PvT... glhf
Thanks man! So basically I should have started pumping out some colossi with a few void rays instead of going straight stalker?
Void rays - gets hardcore countered by marines. You should have a mix of zealots, sentries and collossi to counter marines.
To counter rines you should have at least two collossi, I believe it is 3 or 4 when it turns into a one hit kill. you should also get stalkers to protect your collossi and zealots for a meat shield. finally you need that guardian shield to cut down how much damage those rines are dishing out, but note you don't need to over do the sentries, I'd say like 5-6 for a 150 size army. What do you guys think? this is just off the top of my head, any one got any good, hard numbers for unit composition to suggest?
