Psi Spears

I would just love if the protoss zealots could have psi spears. that would just make my day :
if there was an upgrade at this new Protoss building they said in the newest interview.
thoughts?

both. like they have one spear. so if they throw it, they return to psi blades. it would deal like 25-30 damage.

Hehehe...that would make for one funny animation....the zealot winds up like its gonna throw a football and then suddenly a blue thing emerges from his wrist xP

*shrug* If you had hand to hand spears, it would look incredibly stupid on a zealot, plus like i said, it'd be a wierd(though funny) animation when they fight. Hehe, if you put an axe on one, it'd remind me of Optimus Prime xP

I like Psi Blades just fine

aahh the joy! wouldn't it be a cool concept? you can use the spear for more damage, but slower attack, or throw it, dealing much damage

Or make the Lance wielding zealots a morph (like lurker from hydralisk), these could provide for a standard air support for zealots.

but instead of spending money each time, zealots spawn with both abilities. but starts with a spear. in order to obtain his psi blades, he must throw his spear and impale an enemy target, dealing almost instant death. but, only one unit may receive a spear. you can't have 2 zealots throw their spears at the same target.

How about a spear that stabs through one target, and is long enough to deal damage to the unit behind the first one as well? Maybe it would be good for poking through thick armor, deep into the juicy core of the enemy.

And then they get into phalanx formation for bonus combat against goliaths, tanks, ultralisks, vultures, and horses.

300 zealots strategically placed in a bottleneck that allows on unit through it a time could potentially kill 1,000,000 zerglings. If the charge attack killed the 'lings before they even touched the zealots...
