Okay i got 50 wins 1 vs 1 , but now i lost almost 15 straight. I seem to get stuck, or the players just seem to get better.

Now, what i hate the most is terran players, they just wall up and put tanks behind the wall and i cant do anything.

the game is extremely unfair to toss players, because terran has a counter for all of there units, and they are MUCH CHEAPER and they can double produce them. I need help. this is usualy my build order

    pylon

    gateway

    assimulator

    cyb

    gateway

into stargate or other adcance build depending on waht i scout.
and how do i combat mmm? dont say immortals because they are MUCH more expensive then the maurders and marines who rapes them in 1 second. 1 immortal i get out he has 10 marines to fight it .

The reason people won't say to make immortals is probably because immortals are a very weak solution to MMM.

If that is your biggest problem with terran, then i suggest getting either high templars(if you feel you can engage them in choke points and have a strong warp gate army to support) or coloxen (or just a single colossus) with upgrades. Upgraded coloxen with range 9 disintigrate MMM armies extremely quickly and the robotics facility that you construct will let you transition to immortals which eat tank attacks.

If you find a terran putting all of their resources into a MMM build then it really comes down to slowing them down while preparing units that are strong against that build. As far as harassment goes, all you really need is to keep them in their base with a mobile army of stalkers (marauders do wreck them, but with blink they can take advantage of their speed to do significant damage regardless)

    hope that helps

    How do i upload replays?

and thats one of my main problems, is holding them long enuff to get to the tier 3 units colossus and such, and vikings OWn colosuss just a couple of those and stim mmm destroys my army

also how do i get into the terran base when heh as mass tanks ?

Terran tanks and turrets are very immobile. You have to take advantage of that to win.

Maybe that means warping units into their mineral line. Maybe that means expanding all over the map (the tanks can't be everywhere at once) or maybe that means you use phoenixs to lift their tanks off the ground during your attacks.

The most important thing to remember is to NOT throw away units at the tanks needlessly. Every unit wasted on a well-placed tank is a waste of minerals. Zerg and protoss both need to sometimes let the terran have their main and let them turtle until they are out of minerals.... all the while you expand all over the map and starve them out.

As far as holding out is concerned: A good warp gate army mix (stalkers zealots and sentries) can hold out against marines and marauders effectively with good use of each unit. The sentry shield reduces marine damage while the force field can trap/separate units and mess up their formation so that less of their units can attack or some of their units are vulnerable (ex: separate a group of marauders and have zealots attack them) Stalkers can be positioned to the best possible location using their speed and can then take out marines at will and the zealots are mainly for going close and taking out marauders.

Also, a fun trick to use against the mighty stimpack is to try and get the enemy to stim early by attacking near their base only to retreat with the help of force fields and essentially cause 10 damage to each terran unit for free.

All in all, that sort of style can really help you survive early against the terran army.

As far as tiers are concerned, keep this in mind:

Terran getting to medivacs: 1 barracks (150 min), 1 factory (150 min, 100 gas) and 1 starport (150 min, 100 gas). total: 450 min 200 gas plus the build time of all three buildings (can't make the next without the previous one complete)

Protoss getting to coloxen/immortals: 1 gateway (150 min), 1 cybernetics core (150 min) and 1 robotics bay (200 min 200 gas) total : 500 min 200 gas plus build time.

Notice that isn't much of a difference at all. ***Note- I understand that other units/expenditures occur within a game, but this just represents the investment to getting a specific unit in the MMM build in comparison to a unit that counters the MMM build)***

As far as vikings owning colossus is concerned, you will probably be happy to find that your low tier stalkers are excellent against vikings.

as far as the tanks are concerned, immortals provide an excellent pushing force because they can't take more than 10 damage from any shot, so the siege tank ends up doing very poor DPS to them. Another way to get by the tanks is to just do a warp drop in the back of their base, or blink stalkers and make a blind run at the minerals hoping to just starve the bugger

Seige tanks and turrets are a nightmare. void rays are nice though :) if you can open up one hole to get to the minerals you can do tons of damage before the tanks get off their *** and move.

Suzina is deffinetly right that your probably gonna ahve ot let the terran have his main. however keeping him off every expansion (except maybe his natural, depending on the map) is really easy.

as far as "terran can counter everything the protoss have easily and its cheap" i 100% agree TvP is deffinetly biased to terran
