Hello all (im new to this place) im trying to learn how to play non-money maps cuz im used to playing zc/bgh/ums mostly. I found this video showing a p v z build order and I wanted to know if it's actually good or not. any help + tips greatly appreciated.

another question I have is protoss vs terran I keep getting overrun by mass tanks on Lost Temple. I usually try to make air to kill the tanks but then cloaked wraiths come in and kill my carriers almost instantly. What should I do?

one thing i can write terran in late game wins mostly but they can be easily dropped!

Its very hard to win vs Terran if they block their choke on LT. The map is huge inbalanced for Protoss vs Terran (cliff-drops by expo, easy walld of choke). But i would try a 1 gate fast tech build for reavers (good micro needed) or fast DT drop (hard to pull off if he goes early turrets)

Here is an easy solution to your wraith problem: Observers. These cheap air units, 25 min 75 gas, are permanently cloaked and provide detection for your forces. Also, adding an arbiter could help your carriers, scouts, and corsairs live longer because the arbiter will cloak them until it is killed.

Yes ofcoruse. Normaly you will need a good amount of observers (low cost, nearly same tech as reavers/shuttles), for scouting and detection of cloaked units...

For a decent carrier force (6-10 carriers), I usually have about 3-4 observers and have them use the 'follow' command on separate carriers.

After some more teching, I also tend to use 1-2 arbiters use the 'follow' command as well for both carrier protection and so the arbiter won't get in front of my carriers since it is faster.

Arbiters are priority targets because of thier permanent cloaking field and because they cannot retaliate effectivly because of thier low attack power, so never have them at the front of the battle, but near the rear to make it hard for enemies to attack it.

Sometimes (when I remember to make an observer or two) the terran will scan and kill the observer pretty fast. I guess I should just make more observers? I'll try an arbiter too ;D

nobody told me if that PvZ strategy from that vid is good or not yet! I still want to know that too if u guys don't mind helping me 8) I tried it just now and lost but I think I was really slow at it, lawl.

The build looks solid. Unfortunately my b-net won't work, so I can't test it out for myself unless I play the computer :p

It looks very fast and it looks like it would only work if you were quick about it since you risk not having an early army to defend with.

no problem, always happy to help others.

I do wish my b-net would work though, but I've tried many times, and it always fails. I would love to try those ideas on that site, but the computer players always ruin everything and stuff that works on players doesn't seem to work too well against a computer.
