something i dident like in starcraft 1 where that the protoss missed the ability to heal or repar. but they have shelds.
mabye the protoss could have used something like a mobile sheld battery,

this is why i am asking, if they could heal/repare would that be good  or bad :-X.

just to say it, there do curently not exsist enything like a protoss healer or reparer

i later on figured that if you mind control a medic she can heal your zelots.

aannnnd i am new to forums so can enyone help me relocate this page to the protoss section. i acsedetily placed it here :-X

i think a healer would be bad, the protoss are strong enough already they really dont need a healer, As for a mobile shield generator (not that this is solid evidince) but have you seen the protoss shield regeneration rates in the movies? the mothership was regenerating like 10 shield points a second i mean whats up with that? increadable regen rates that collosis was regening about 5 shield per sec or something still incrdably high just hide your units for a minute and their shields are back at full. not sure if they will keep it that way though

Protoss don't need a healer/repairer simply because that would make them too similiar to the Terrans. Blizzard stated they want all 3 races to be even more distinctive in SC2. Having a healer/repairer for the Protoss would simply make the Protoss a little too similiar to the Terrans.

Protoss couldn't repair their buildings because of shields, which doubles building hitpoints.

I find it strange that with the technological advances the toss have they never had a repair/heal method. I say no to healers/repair. There HAS to be a way to make to toss retreat back to their base to benefit from their shield batteries, anyway its not to hard to warp in a couple of shield batteries to the front lines along with some photon cannons.

However, the only thing I find annoying is having my buildings on fire and theres nothinn I can do about it exept kill them and rebuild, which takes up unessesary time and reasources.

Yet again, it would be to much "Terran-Like" But there should be some Building Generator thing :) ( Just for the shield. )

No you can't repair protoss units with an SCV, but you can heal their units. Same to the zerg.

Yeah that really annoyed me in the first one. Maybe they could make it that they slowly auto heal to say half HP so they aren't on fire (or not as much) and aren't so easily killed once the shield goes down.

    Maybe not, but still...
