Hello..So the topic of the evening is. What do you do when a protoss cheeser puts up a 1 forge, 1 pylon and 2 cannon towers at your entrance choke so you wont be able to take an exp? If i saw it before it was put up i could react but what do you do as zerg when that occurs? I hate cheese. The first thing that may occur to your mind is to build banelings and blow it but that would be a REALLY big waste of gas since everyone knows, if he is blocking you from exping he will go for air himself so that is a big big big waste to build banelings. Any other strategies i should know? Thank you.

Basically you should always scout, and therefore always spot cheese. If the Protoss player is already building a Pylon at your ramp you should pull 2-3 drones of your mineral line and position them at your ramp entrance to prevent any other buildings from warping in.

Ignore them and run a whole lot of speedlings straight past and into the enemy base. Should be an easy win.

If they have blocked the ramp completely however roaches would be your best bet.

In my opinion the best thing to do is if he has placed the pylons in front of the cannons , you just throw 2 spine crawlers and the will hit the pylons while not receiving damage from the cannons. That way you will unpower his cannons and it is easy from there on...

If you scout in time and notice an early forge, have a drone stand at the bottom of your ramp.
But if don't spot the forge in time, you could always nydus worm.

HDStarcraft just posted a game where that happened to him.

If you have a scout drone out already, take another expo somewhere else and keep macroing up, you can beat those pylons with spine crawlers like you said and after the pylons are down roaches can do a good enough job after that.
I think against P it's a good idea to scout early to get an idea of his early play. Also a drone on patrol at the bottom of the ramp can help too, afaik. And if he manages to get that first pylon off, move your drone out and try to take some hidden expo.

Finally, Nydus worms work great. Breaking a contain from the outside is easier than doing it from the inside, but you can also just nydus into his main base and take advantage of his lack of army/economy while you've been 1-base pumping roach/lings... I saw an awsome video of psy doing it recently, iirc...
No it wasn't a pylon block, but I'm pretty sure that it can work against such a pylon block too, just build a second hatch in your base to increase production since lings/drones are heavy on larva...

    Hey,

send out a patroling drone at the bottom of your ramp to try and deny the pylon being built, once the pylon goes down use three drones to try and take it out early. If that doesn't work build a spine near it and some zerglings. There are replays out there somewhere, but I didn't take the time to find one.

I've also seen the roach bust which isn't a bad idea to use if they go for an aggressive expand out of the pylon block. I wish I could be more specific about the unit composition and timings with the above, but right now I don't have enough info. Could someone add the specifics to this please?

Roach + Hydra. then go infestors to beat the shiz out of his cheesin arse.

Edit: I take that back. hold off cannons w/ roches and go 1 base mutas to harass him. (sexuallly~~)
