What kind of briefings do you expect for these 2 races? Maybe the protoss will be the same as the terran, I mean you can move from place to place with Zeratul or someone, but what about the Zerg? I don't think Kerrigan would ask any of her minions for advice.. So what do you think?
I think that the Protoss briefings will be very similar - onboard a Carrier or Mothership, following Zeratul or Artanis around. Instead of buying units, however, I think that you will have to gain "Psi Points" or something like that so that you can have the capability of warping in new units and technologies. As far as the Zerg go, I can see following Kerrigan around a Hive Cluster, or inside a gooey Overlord. I think that Blizzard will have to be very creative with this, and I'm sure that whatever they do will be very, very cool. I have no clue what will be used in place of buying units - maybe some sort of genetic capability measurement so that new strains can be evolved. I'm looking forward to finding out!!!
my guess for the zerg is that you don't play as kerrigan but as a ceribrate and ask other cerebrates and kerrigan for advice, you would use spores to get acces to new units
Well being a cerebrate is not to exciting I think.. U can't move, only telepathic communication.. But I think Blizzard could make these parts exciting too
I honestly have no idea how they will logically translate it for the other two. But whatever they do it will be cool and really flesh out the SC universe :good:
Protoss will most likely be in a mothership and will most likely involve gettign units by somehow sneaking onto auir and stelling tech from the planet (apparently quite afew of the new protoss units are just old ones that are either modified or old designs we never saw before). Zerg unit collections style will almost 100% be assimilate the native life of a planet. And there briefing room could be you controling kerrigan inside a hive (remember judging by its size compaired to a marine its quite large and it stores larva so it has to have some form of inner chamber).
I have a feeling that the background will be different depending on where you are/last were, so if you were around Shakuras it will be that planet in the background, and it'll change as you progress through the campaign. As for the briefing rooms I can see the Protoss one being very similar to the Terran one, minus the drinking and purchasing of units (I think the way factions acquire units will be vastly different for each race). For the Zerg I imagine Kerrigan commanding the swarm from aboard an infested Orbital Platform, such as the one in the last level of Brood War (the name escapes me...), though it seems like Blizzard would be taking the easy way out if they did this.
