problems with Mac installer

    okay. im on a mac osx 10.5.8. i bought the digital copy, then i tried using the link they gave (blizzard installer) to get my sc2 installed. however when i double click the installer.app, nothing happens. so i decided to torrent to digital download and i got the file now. however, nothing happen when double click installer.app

    please help thanks :)

    Yeah, I edited the thread's title so people would know you are asking about the Mac installer. Hopefully that will draw the attention of Mac users that can help.

    You could try going into terminal and type I think its "open " and then installer.app. See what that does, it might print an error or something.

    You have to type "open " before it.

    BTW, I'm on 10.6.4, so upgrading to Snow Leopard (or in my case, downgrading to Leopard) is not a valid fix either :(

    Ok, here's the solution:

    I deleted the "Installer.app" in the downloaded folder. Re-downloded the downloder, run it again, and then it downloaded a new version of installer.app that worked.

    Apparently it got corrupted somehow durent download.

    Hopefully this helps someone else and you don't waste 5 hours like I did :)
