    Hi there!!

i've just made a 1 v1 map in the map editor and i tried to make it just like any other of those blizzard maps in the game...
BUT its not working the way it should...

when i start a game on the map i cant choose to play AGAINST the computer its like there's only 1 team (so i have to play 2 vs 0)
and then there's all that stuff about melee and custom -games, but i cant choose melee game even though it says something like: "All melee requirements have been met" in the map status

    wtf?? xD

btw im very noobish at the map editor i've just started doing this today..
but i've tried EVERITHING i can to make it work but i give up now
and ask for your help!! D:

Oh man. I have no idea about this question. Let me fiddle around with it when I get the time and I'll get back to you. You might also try asking at www.sc2mapster.com.

Well it's a very basic issue. I should be able to recreate it on my own. But if you want to, you could upload the map and let me download it and I'll have a look. In fact, that would probably be best. Also, sc2mapster.com is an entire forum dedicated to map-making and mods and stuff for SC2.

I cannot access it, as I am not on the European server. Upload your map to a free file hosting website so that I may download it there, please. =D

When making a Melee map, you must follow very specific guidelines. Go to the Map dropdown menu at the top, then select Map Status near the bottom of the menu. This window will tell you whether your map is classified as custom, mod, melee, etc. based on things you have set in the game. Your map is not a Melee map for three reasons:
First, you cannot have preplaced units. Delete your three zergling and your zealot.
Second, Player 0 must be under Neutral control.
Third, you must have an opponent. Set Player 2 to User control. In the lobby, you will be able to change this user to a computer player.

Awesome!! i've done all that now (i dont really remember why i placed those units there anyway)
    but nevermind ^^

but still.... now it doesn't show up in the single player maps anymore so i found it in the multiplayer maps under "my published" and its still a custom game D':

Hmmmmmm. You sure you set up Player 2 to be a user-controlled player?
