When I first started playing, I went Protoss straight. Alienish race, just my style. Loved the race and it turned out awesome, learned lots of build orders. Next up, you can't play only 1 race for life. I went to Terran. Loved it too. Managed lots of build orders too - just like Protoss. Then I was like, time for Zerg, it's gonna be awesome. And it was, it turned out to be my favorite race by far. Now that I've mastered these races, I play random. Suddenly, for some reason, I s*ck with Terran. I rocked Terran at start, but now I'm plain sh*t. It always goes out as something like Mass Reapers, or I'm super behind with Macro and stuff. I know the strategies, but I just can't make them work. I try Mech, I get siege tanks after 500 hours. Stuff like that. I'm never stable with my strategy - I go from 2 siege tanks straight to banshees, then I'm like OMG MARINES and I spam them. I'm just plain cr*p with them.
Just keep Pumping out the Units for the Composition of your Strategy and Attack Accordingly. TvT I like to get a Fast Expansion and Outproduce them. TvP I like to Build up a Specific Army from one Base then Attack (Lots of Upgraded Marines, Several Marauders, 5 Siege Tanks, 4-5 Banshees, 1 Raven). TvZ I like to keep constant Pressure on them (Microed Hellions with Pre-Igniter, Thors with SCVs Repairing, Ground Vehicle Upgrades).
the macro between all the dif races is very different you are prolly failing to macro well in some of them therefore losing. learn macro first then strat then miro.also replay is helpful you can attch here
Maybe its because when you play zerg you have more flexibility in terms of strategy and when you go play the other races, you feel like you've got that flexibility but its just not there
